Before you spend those hobby dollars, check one of many great alternatives to the Necromunda Cargo-8 Ridgehauler and a sick paint job!
The Cargo-8 Ridgehauler is a really cool addition to Necromunda, but buying just the model itself is well pricy. Ponying up to buy both the vehicle and an extra trailer is almost the price of most bundle boxes from Games Workshop.
That’s why this find (and paint job) by the Orc Painter Nerd, got us excited! We’ll obviously check out the sweet paint job, and also show you where you can buy the model yourself!

This is the one painted by Orc Painter Nerd and it definitely gives the kit that grimdark feel. Let’s compare it to the actual model, as there are a few differences, but it works very well.
Especially when you consider it’s Necromunda and they wouldn’t make everything the same anyways!
He also posted a picture with Games Workshop miniatures for comparison! When compared to the Cargo-8 Ridghauler this alternative is about the same size and easily looks close enough.
Then, you could just throw some gunners on there (which you can buy separately) if you wanted the extra firepower. Plus, the price is around $45 or so, pretty hard to beat that if you ask us.
Now, let’s check out where you can score yours!

As you can see, you’ll obviously have to repaint it, but you’d have to paint the Games Workshop one anyway, so nothing too bad here.
You could fit a ton of cargo in this bad boy, but more importantly, save yourself some cash and get a mini that really sets your force apart!
