Necromunda Gets a New Sanctioner Pattern Automata Model!

Necromunda Sanctioner Pattern Automata featureSometimes you need robotic muscle to keep the Underhive in check. When you do, call in the Necromunda Sanctioner Pattern Automata!

With the new Arbites/Enforcers out, it’s nice to see them get a little more backup. Best of all Games Workshop said they are going to be in plastic, so no resin for these Ogryn-sized dreadnoughts! The new minis are meant to keep the Underhive from rising up in large numbers but have some pretty interesting rules as well.

They don’t use half-dead heroes like normal space marines dreadnoughts but brains from the most fanatical Enforcers. Let’s take a closer look!

New Necromunda Sanctioner Pattern Automata Announced By GW!

The new models come from this Warhammer Community post.

with this many scofflaws in open insurrection, regular assault rams and concussion rifles won’t cut it. What you need is a fleet of semi-sentient servo-automata piloted by the psycho-conditioned transplanted brains of especially fanatical enforcers. You need the Sanctioner.

Known as ‘Lawtomata’ by a surprisingly witty populace, these armed and armoured constructs are protected by thick carapace armour and wield much larger versions of regular Enforcer weapons – concussion cannons, heavy shock batons, and no less than five types of grenade.

They have a ton of weaponry, and when these come rolling through the alleyway, it might just be better to run! Plus, with five types of grenades, they can lay down the suppressing fire for your Enforcers.

Not only are these Brutes tough to take down, they become a self-repairing Mobile Bulwark that counts as full cover for any of their squad mates hiding behind them. Who needs the Adeptus Arbites when you’ve got a Sanctioner?

They would be perfect to just put in front of your Enforcers and let them soak up all the fire and get them to the front lines! They also mention that they will come in boxes of two with plastic.

If they look semi-familiar to you, it’s because these share more than a passing resemblance with Games Workshop’s own design for the first Imperial Knight titans in 1995 for the EPIC game.
