Three new Warhammer 40k Boarding Patrol boxes have been revealed, this time for Adepta Sororitas, Adeptus Custodes, and Thousand Sons!
This is the fifth set of boxes we’ve seen so far, and while the Space Marines one sells for $110, we have also seen the Chaos Box and Tyranids go for $125, and then the Admech box sells for $140. So the prices aren’t necessarily going to be the same and are, at times, all over the place.
These are sort of like small Combat Patrol boxes but made specifically to be fielded for games of Warhammer 40k Boarding Actions.
So, expect them all to have a lot of foot sloggers, but again, the values have been all over the place, so we’ll have to see the final price. From the looks of it, GW may release one of these box sets for every faction…

Three New Boarding Patrol Boxes Announced By GW
The Arks of Omen have taken the galaxy by storm! Everyone seems to want one, and more and more factions are mustering Boarding Patrols to get in on the latest craze going down in Segmentum Obscurus.
This time around, there are Boarding Patrols coming from the Adepta Sororitas, the Adeptus Custodes, and the Thousand Sons. Let’s take a closer look.
Boarding Patrol: Adepta Sororitas
This Boarding Patrol is led by a Canoness, who has somehow found a nice rock to pose on even in the cold void of space.
She’s joined by five Celestian Sacresants, nine Sisters Repentia whipped into a frenzy by a Repentia Superior, and 10 Battle Sisters who can be built as Dominions or Celestians, plus one Cherub lugging a censer along for the ride (because these ships can smell a bit after millennia in the warp and the STC for pine-scented air fresheners is sadly lost to the Age of Strife).
This box is interesting because it’s the first one with an entire squad of Repentia! A lot of the boxes had like three of them for whatever reason, so this is just fun to see. This is a pretty combat-focused box, but overall seems pretty decent.
Boarding Patrol: Adeptus Custodes
The Adeptus Custodes are the Emperor’s finest. Golden demigods, they are His bodyguards and attendants, trained for centuries in the ancient art of walloping literally anything that gets in their way, tasked with missions too personal and dangerous even for the mighty Space Marines. This set is led by no less a personage than Captain-General Trajann Valoris, who is joined by three Allarus Custodians, and five Custodian Guards.
Trajann has been in nearly every starter box for these guys so far, but no real issue. Then getting Guards and Allarus is always nice, but when you look at this compared to either the Combat Patrol or the Christmas Battleforce, it just seems like fewer minis, so let’s hope the price reflects that.
Boarding Patrol: The Thousand Sons
Ensure everything goes just as planned with this bumper Boarding Patrol. Unusually for the Thousand Sons there’s no messing around here, with 20 Rubric Marines and two Chaos Spawn ready to tread the gantries of any space hulk they can find.
Well, we are finally getting a box without a ton of Tzaangors! So, right off the bat, this box is great because you just get a ton of Rubric Marines. However, it does say you’ll get two Chaos Spawns, but the picture only has one, so let’s hope you actually do get two, as the standard box from GW does come with two.
