RUMORS: Plague Marines 10th Edition 40k Rules Datasheet Spotted!

chaos rumors new wal hor warhammer games workshopA possible 10th Edition Death Guard Plague Marines 40k Rules Datasheet has been spotted; check out what they might be able to do soon!

Before we get started on this one, this is a rumor! So, it might be worthwhile to take this with some serious salt, as the new datasheets seem like they could be recreated relatively easily. Just remember, nothing is proven until it’s actually put out by GW.

However, if this is real, it’s always nice to get a little peek into how your army is going to function in the new edition. Let’s check out the latest rumors for 10th edition Warhammer 40k.

We’ll go over the differences, but first, this looks like the Termagant sheet. With so many weapon options, a single page like this starts to look a little full.

10th Edition 40kWhen compared with the datasheet GW revealed, it actually looks pretty decent, but obviously, it wouldn’t be too hard to change the colors, add the proper minis up top, and change up all the wording. However, a few things are consistent with what GW has said.

  • Fewer AP- GW promised there would be less AP and Damage overall.
  • Abilities- GW said abilities will be more universal, so they don’t have abilities written out for Disgustingly Resilient or Contagions of Nurgle.
  • Weapon universal rules- Just like the abilities, GW said weapons will have universal rules, and Plague Weapon could easily be one of them.
  • The Power Fist- You can actually see the WS change on the actual weapon.

Now some issues:

  • The Keywords font is a little off.
  • The movement inch mark is a little different.

Now, let’s compare this with the current datasheet.

As for the current Marines, you need a certain number of models to get the weapons, so will GW just do away with that, or somehow add it to a totally different section? Maybe there will just be a universal rule of one special weapon per five?

We’re really not sure, perhaps the actual model kits will have more do to with the rules in 10th Edition 40k than before?
