Sure, “up to 50 percent off” usually sends us looking for the catch, but the premise here is simple. The collection page doesn’t show the final sale price; just put something in your cart, and the 50 percent discount applies automatically, with no code or minimum purchase.
Products already on clearance get their existing markdown before that cart discount lands, which is where the bigger cuts come from. Don’t judge the sale by the collection page alone. Check the cart price.
Sleeves and Deck Boxes Are Worth Stock Up On
Roughly 700 of these items are card game accessories, which probably isn’t what most 40k players came looking for, but still, Gamegenic, Ultra Pro, Ultimate Guard, and Dragon Shield are all here, and their deck boxes and binders work just fine for datasheet cards, Stratagem cards, and objective markers.
Lorcana Shimmering Skies sleeves are listed at $4.99 instead of $10.99 before the cart discount. The artwork might say Lorcana, but the sleeves don’t care what cards you put inside them.
Either way, if you’ve ever tried keeping a whole army’s datasheet cards in the box they came in, there’s probably something useful in this section regardless of it not being “for miniatures”.
The RPG Shelf Has The Best Deals
So it looks like the roleplaying section may have the best deals in the collection. Beadle & Grimm’s Pathfinder 2E Character Chronicles are down to $19.99 from $43.99 before the cart discount, with books from Paizo, Cubicle 7, and Wizards of the Coast also mixed in.
We’d expect some of these to go quickly, because physical RPG books marked down this hard usually don’t stick around forever.
There’s Real Hobby Product Hiding Behind The School Supplies Label
So, the Back to School name doesn’t really clue you in on what’s buried in this collection. Battle Systems terrain is here, along with kits from Archon Studio and Steamforged, plus nanoblock stuff in the novelty section.
Also keep in mind the LEGO pricing works a little differently. Those list prices run high, so after the automatic 50 percent discount they land at roughly 25 percent below MSRP. So it’s still a real discount, just not the full 50 percent the “higher” retail price suggests.

From the looks of it, this sale makes more sense as a restock run than a big hobby splurge. Sleeves, deck boxes, RPG books, storage gear, and terrain aren’t always the most exciting purchases, but they’re the stuff you notice when you’re short on them.
Either way, take a look at whatever you’ve been putting off replacing, then see what else is worth throwing in the cart too.
