Today’s new Warhammer Rumor Engine preview looks like GW might be showing the return of Da Red Gobbo, and maybe another year of Grotmas.
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.
Let’s take a look and try to guess until then!
New Warhammer Rumor Engine Preview: October 6th, 2026
Recently, GW has been making Red Gobbo minis most years, but always with some new gadget or suit of armor. Obviously, Da Gobbo brings plenty of holiday-themed toys, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see this on a new iteration in 2026. So, this could also easily be a themed base with foliage growing on it, which fits tons of armies.
Tinboy was the mini from last year, so who knows what they can do to top this one, but maybe he’ll be on a chariot of some kind. Why? Because it would be cool.
Plus, if we get another Grotmas Calendar along with the mini, that would mean plenty of new reveals too!
But since almost every fantasy game has some kind of foliage like this, it could always be just about anything else (maybe we’ll get lucky and it’s from the rumored Catachan rework).
