Is It Worth It?
On straight value, this one lands closer to the middle of the pack than the top. Saving $64 is still solid, but it is not enough on its own to push this box into must-buy territory. A huge chunk of that value is tied up in the Cauldron of Blood, so the whole thing really comes down to one question: do you actually want that kit?
If the answer is yes, this is a pretty respectable pickup. The Cauldron is pricey no matter how you slice it, and here it comes with a decent supporting force wrapped around it.
If the answer is no, this box gets a lot less exciting in a hurry. Once there’s even one kit inside you don’t want, this starts looking like an easy pass.
How Many Points Is This?
Well, if you’re wondering about the Daughters of Khaine Spearhead points? In Age of Sigmar games, this box hits for about 800 points (if you build out and play with all the characters on foot from the Cauldron box).
What to Buy Next?
What you buy next really depends on whether you want to lean harder into the snakes, the witch aelves, or the big centerpiece side of the army. Another big awesome model is never the worst idea, but adding more infantry and utility pieces will usually give you a better mix for actual games.
From here, the smartest move is usually grabbing the units that round out whatever part of the box you liked most, instead of forcing yourself deeper into kits you were only taking for the bundle value.
OOP 2024 Daughters of Khaine Spearhead
The Out of Print (OOP) 2024 Spearhead box was great for anyone who wanted a bunch of models to throw down on the table. Released on June 13th, 2024, this set had 21 models and almost no characters, basically the opposite of this box.
At a $145 price tag and an MSRP value of $212, it gave you about $67 in savings, assuming you actually needed everything in the box.

Final Thoughts on the AoS Daughters of Khaine Spearhead
At the end of the day, the Khainite Shadow Coven Spearhead has some cool stuff going for it, but it really lives or dies on how much you want that Cauldron of Blood. If the centerpiece model and the fast, murderous playstyle are your thing, there is enough here to make it a worthwhile pickup, but this is not one of those boxes that sells itself on value alone.
For Daughters of Khaine players who like the look, the theme, and the units inside, it gets the job done, but for everyone else, this one is pretty easy to leave on the shelf.
