MERCS miniatures game is coming back to the tabletop under new leadership with the goal of expanding it into the future!
MERCS and all the IP including the Miniatures, RECON, and Conflict, have been purchased by Fifth Angel Studios from the founder of MegaCon Games, Brian Shotton. They did a great job of creating a great game. Now with Fifth Angel at the helm, they want to keep the game moving forward and being better than ever.
If you already were a fan of the game, it is good to hear it’s going to continue on. For those not familiar, it is a fast-paced skirmish game. Where Games consist of two small squads, which have all special equipment and skills. The game also uses a system of initiative and reaction to determine the exact order of turns. Let’s hear more from Fifth Angel Studios about the new direction!
MERCS Coming back to the Tabletop With Fifth Angel Studios
Starting in early 2021, products in the current MERCS 2.0 range will be available to players and fans through their favorite retailers. As well as directly from the Fifth Angel Studios website. Fifth Angel Studios is committed to producing an exciting new range of miniatures to support the growth of the various MERCS lines. These will build on the established releases as well as introduce new narrative and competitive gaming opportunities for this compelling setting. Fifth Angel Studios is investing in all aspects of the design, development, and supply of the game.
Fifth Angel Studios are also planning in-store organized play support for MERCS Miniatures. As well as a range of exciting events planned throughout 2021 and beyond.
We are sure that many of the fans of MERCS Miniatures have some questions, we are creating an FAQ document to answer them. The document will be updated on a regular basis, please subscribe to our mailing list for announcements and updates. Be on the lookout for announcements of new products and show attendance in the coming months.

The game is in good hands! The team is solid and you’ve probably seen the team if you’ve gone to any Adepticons in the past. We’ll have to see where they take the game, but we’re confident in the new team!
