Do 9th Edition Previews Confirm mystery Primaris Vehicles?

So here is the official Primaris picture that’s making a lot of folks think this will be the contents of the new 9th Edition Box Set on the way. We’ve got some Gravis models with what looks like melta cannons, some power sword Primaris in the front, Bikes in the back, etc. There are a few models out of this shot that look to fit almost perfectly with the mystery photo that the community-at-large thought was a hoax.
Remember this photo? This hit the internet at the very start of the yearwith some obvious units like the Redemptor Dread being easy to pick out. However, there were other units like some kind of Primaris Land Speeder, a Primaris Baal Predator-looking tank, etc. Well, now that we’ve seen some 9th Edition previews of new models, there are a few units that look to match up…
Zooming in on one of the Biker models in the background, Seneca on DakkaDakka traced out the possible details of the mystery Bike models in the top right of the frame.
Oh wow, look at that. It’s almost an EXACT match-up from what was traced.
Here, there’s some kind of figure that looks to be in black power armor standing off by himself.
Looking at the two new Primaris units sporting black power armor, there’s the Judiciar and some other dude that might just be an alternate Chaplain model. In either case, we know GW is focusing more on the characters in black armor so even if the mystery model isn’t either of these guys, it wouldn’t be surprising to see another character like these two drop.

With Confirmed Units In the Photos, Does That Mean Vehicles Are Legit Too?
We’re not going to lie. We thought that these Land Speeder/Baal Predator-looking things were just some clever photoshopping skills. But now that we’ve got some Bike models with one matching up perfectly with 9th Edition previews, does that mean these other units are back on the table?
Well, this teaser by Warhammer Community for their 40k Box Set preview Saturday, may give some weight to the fact that new VEHICLES are indeed on the way for 40k:
We’ll be taking a closer look at Vehicles, monstrous creatures, blast weapons and terrain, as well as previewing rules from War of the Spider.
It wouldn’t surprise us if there was some kind of big vehicle release later down the line. Primaris are still severely lacking in the Jump Pack and Vehicle department.
What do you think about these two mystery photos? Would you like to see a Primaris’d version of a Baal Predator?
