GW’s new Warhammer rumor engine preview has a recognizable icon from Space Marine Terminators, but what does it mean? Let’s take a look at the possibilities!
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

Rumor Engine: October 21st, 2025
This rumor engine is clearly someone or something holding a Space Marine honor called the Crux Terminatus. These are usually found exclusively on Terminators, but with a bearded being holding it, possibilities are all over the place!
Our best bets are Inquisitors or a new specialist game character.
There are quite a few variations on this symbol, but the terminator in the bottom right has almost the exact bit hanging on their belt! We know where that bit comes from, but finding out what is holding it is a tall ask.
Maybe it’s an Inquisition recovery mission or some wacky new space pirate!
Either way, this is a rumor engine with tons of possible options; it will be cool to see the future mini!
