Games Workshop has just revealed its latest pre-orders this week for Warhammer 40k, featuring tons of Space Marines (Imperial Fists and Raven Guard), the New Imperial Knights, and Black Library releases.
Here’s the full lineup, along with our thoughts on all the new products that are set to go on pre-order soon.
Imperial Knights and a Mountain of New 40k Releases
The Knight Houses are riding out once again, lances gleaming and reactor cores humming, ready to bring glory to the Emperor in machines the size of cathedrals. Games Workshop’s latest round of releases is stuffed with noble Knights, sneaky Raven Guard, stoic Imperial Fists, arcane robots, and even a sprinkle of Middle-earth on the side.
These products will be available for pre-order on Saturday, September 6th, around 1 p.m. EST in the United States on Games Workshop’s website, and 12:00 a.m. everywhere else, with a shelf release date of Saturday, September 20th, 2025.
If you’re still waiting on something to hit pre-order, be sure to check out the latest new release lineup in our updated Warhammer Roadmap for 2025.
New Warhammer 40k Pre-Order Releases:
Reinforcements are en route, as the latest releases for Warhammer 40k pre-orders have just hit the scene! These factions have new products that are locked, loaded, and ready for action.
Codex Imperial Knights
The headline act is the new 112-page Codex: Imperial Knights. Inside, players will find rules for four detachments, a full roster of datasheets, Crusade content for staging a Chivalric Quest, plus background lore, art, and photography to inspire battlefield swagger.
For collectors with a taste for fancy covers, there’s a special edition wrapped in a soft-touch finish, with a ribbon bookmark and shiny blue foil edges.
Knight Questoris
If there’s one Knight that everyone knows, it’s the Questoris pattern. Versatile, dependable, and adaptable, this big chunk of walking armor can be built as a Paladin, Crusader, Warden, Errant, Gallant, or even a Chaos Despoiler. The new kit also includes the option for a Knight Defender, armed with weapons like a conversion beam obliterator and a plasma executor.
Knight Preceptor / Canis Rex
For nobles who want a little more prestige, the Knight Preceptor is here to show the younger pilots how it’s done. And then there’s Canis Rex, piloted by the legendary Sir Hekhtur, a Freeblade with a resume longer than most campaigns.
This kit can build either one of them, or any of the Questoris variants listed above, complete with a sprue for Preceptor-specific upgrades and a matching transfer sheet.
Imperial Knight Datasheets and Dice Set
Anyone who’s tried to keep track of Knight weapons mid-game knows how tricky it can get. A handy pack of 13 datasheet cards makes referencing rules easier.
There’s also a set of 16 pearlised yellow dice themed for House Hawkshroud, decorated with the Knight icon on the six face.
Aethon Shaan
The Raven Guard’s Chapter Master, Aethon Shaan, takes the spotlight next. Known for his patience and precision, he arrives with the Blackwing Mantle, granting his unit free use of Rapid Ingress and Heroic Intervention stratagems, along with the Claws of Severax, crackling with lightning.
Three head options let hobbyists pick between masked, helmeted, or hooded looks.
Combat Patrol Raven Guard Pre-Order
Perfect for smaller games, this set brings the sneaky flavor Raven Guard players love. It includes a Jump Pack Captain, five Jump Pack Intercessors, 10 Infiltrators, and an Invictor Tactical Warsuit. Two new transfer sheets, each holding 326 markings, round out the set. Rules will be available online.
Darnath Lysander
The Imperial Fists’ First Captain, Darnath Lysander, comes clad in Terminator armor, armed with the mighty Fist of Dorn and his storm shield Rampart. The kit includes two head options, one helmeted and one bare.
Combat Patrol Imperial Fists Pre-Order
The new Fists Combat Patrol, Rampart Force Torreus, features a Captain leading five Terminators, five Intercessors, and five Heavy Intercessors. Like their Raven Guard counterparts, the set includes a giant transfer sheet with 507 markings. Rules will be available for free.
Raven Guard and Imperial Fists Dice Sets
Both Raven Guard and Imperial Fists get their own themed dice sets of 16. Raven Guard dice are pearlised black with pale blue pips, while the Imperial Fists dice are bright yellow with black pips, each featuring the Chapter symbol on the six face.
Sekhetar Robots
Now available seperately, the Thousand Sons bring something eerie to the table with Sekhetar Robots. These hulking guardians wait in silence until their wards are disturbed, then unleash warpflamers, missile racks, meltaguns, or even power claws.
Each kit builds two robots, inscribed with sorcerous runes.
Grand Master in Nemesis Dreadknight
Also available separately, Grey Knights roll out a revamped Nemesis Dreadknight kit, which can be built into a standard version or a Grand Master variant. The new sprue offers weapons like the Nemesis mace, flail, and sublimator, along with cosmetic tweaks for customization.

The kit includes terrain, dice, a token sheet, and a 56-page handbook that eases new commanders in with solo missions before moving to full skirmishes.

White Dwarf 516

Warhammer 40k players get fresh Leagues of Votann missions, and there are painting guides for Salamanders, Iron Warriors, and Saturnine Terminators, alongside a hobby showcase and the finale of The Trials of Albarak.
