GW’s latest Warhammer 40k rumor engine preview looks like a power shield, but it could be for anyone! Let’s take a look!
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

Rumor Engine: May 27th, 2025
This rumor engine really looks like a power shield, but GW has had a few extreme surprises with these in the past, so expect the unexpected! We can’t quite do that, but another possibility we see is a component of a vehicle, such as a shield generator or armor plate.
One thing is certain: this is either 40k or a specialist game.
If you look at the top right Sacresant, they have a very similar shield and wires on the inside, making this a very clear possibility. Due to that, we think Sisters or another imperium power shield are the most likely candidates!
Still, this is a rumor engine with tons of possible options; it really could be anything, even a wild specialist game mini!
