Kromlech Orctober 2026 Goes Full Dune With a Whole Desert Army

Kromlech Orktober 2026Kromlech Orctober 2026 is live right now, and the Dune-flavored lineup is deep enough to build a whole Sand Raiderz Ork army around.

Kromlech’s Orctober 2026 releases are here, and apparently someone decided Dune needed Orks with bigger guns and an attitude. This year’s lineup has everything from cloaked raiders and giant squig-like beasts to a massive sandcrawler that looks like a hobby project all on its own.

There are even a few familiar characters getting the Ork treatment, because why not? Here’s what’s new, what it costs, and which kits might be worth making room for on your hobby desk.

ARTICLE SUMMARY:
  • Sand Raiderz: The five-Orc squad costs €43.99, and the separate heads, bodies, and weapon bits let you bring Orks you already own along for the desert trip.
  • Dust-Chomper: The 51cm HDF transport costs €129.99 and is closer to a terrain project than a regular 40k vehicle build.
  • Orkithopta, Dust Gnaws and characters: An ornithopter-style flyer, desert squigs, Powl At-Rider and Count Ulagg round out a force with the same desert look.

The Sand Raiderz Are What Make This an Army

Sand RaiderzThe Sand Raiderz aren’t the flashy kits of the release, but you’ll probably get the most use out of them. The Sand Raiderz squad gets you five resin Orcs for €43.99, about €8.80 a model, with five 32mm round bases and a mix of Wormfang Stabbaz and Dust-Roarer Bitz. You can swap every head and arm between the bodies, so you don’t have to end up with the same Orc five times.

Just after the bits? Kromlech sells ten Sand Raiderz Heads in five designs for €10.99, five cloaked Sand Raiderz Bodies for €18.99, and ten-piece sets of Wormfang Stabbaz and Dust-Roarer Bitz for €10.99 each. Both weapon sets include five left arms and five right arms.

Do the math, though, before you load up your cart. One of each bits pack comes to €51.96, while the full squad is €43.99. So if you just want Raiderz on the table, the squad is the cheaper way to go.

The separate heads and weapons do give you another way to change them up, just like Kromlech’s Cybork Mercenaries did back in the day.

The Dust-Chomper Is Basically Terrain You Can Drive

Orc Dust ChomperThe Dust-Chomper is 51cm long, roughly 20 inches, so nobody’s going to miss that on your shelf. It costs €129.99 and is mostly HDF with plastic details, not resin. One look at it, and you can see the sandcrawler vibe.

God Busta StompaKromlech has done oversized Ork kits before, as the God Busta Megastompa makes pretty clear. That one’s also available for a limited time, and the Dust-Chomper asks for the same kind of hobby commitment.

The Orkithopta and Dust Gnaws Fill Out the Desert Force

OrkithopterYou can really see the Dune influence in the Orkithopta. The €59.99 flyer takes its cue from those insect-like ornithopters, so its shape is pretty different from the usual ramshackle Ork jets. Kromlech’s already had a go at Orktober flyers with the Kopta-Kan. Now you can add something with bug wings, too.

Giant Dust MawIf you’re into conversions, we’d probably grab the Giant Dust Gnaws first. These desert-adapted, squig-like beasts come in three individual designs at €17.99 each, or you can get the three-pack for €45.99.

That’s €7.98 saved over buying all three separately. We’d use them for Beast Snagga conversions, a custom squig unit, or a desert warband that needs something hungry running around its ankles.

Powl At-Rider and Count Ulagg Aren’t Fooling Anybody

Sand Riderz BossYou probably don’t need us to explain these names. Powl At-Rider and Count Ulagg the Ash Warlord cost €19.99 apiece, and with the desert setting, those Paul Atreides and Baron Harkonnen nods are about as subtle as a Stompa in a hab block.

Count UlaggThe names are fun, sure, but these two actually look like they belong with the rest of the army. You can paint the lot together, and it’ll look like one force. But before you build a list around any of it, though, ask your local TO whether they’ll allow it.

Final Thoughts on the Kromlech Orctober 2026 Lineup

Dust MawKromlech could still add more before the month wraps, so we’re wondering if these full themed ranges will become what people head to Kromlech for this month. After rock-and-roll Orks and now desert raiders, each release feels more like an army than a handful of oddballs.

If next Orktober follows that pattern, we reckon Ork players could end up waiting to see what theme Kromlech does next.
