Star Wars Shatterpoint Roadmap 2026 Release Schedule

shatterpoint new release schedule roadmap amg product image revealsHere’s AMG’s latest Star Wars Shatterpoint roadmap, showcasing the new release schedule and previews from Minstravaganza and Adepticon.

If you’re trying to plan your Shatterpoint purchases, deciding what to paint next, or figuring out which eras are actually going to get support, we break it all down.

Between the latest Star Wars: Shatterpoint coverage and AdeptiCon previews tied to Shatterpoint, AMG gave players a better look at what’s coming next. So you can separate the near-term releases from the long-range teases and plan your collection out without guessing (assuming we actually get more new Shatterpoint releases).

There are new squad packs, new mission support, and some genuinely cool character choices on the way. But… the roadmap also shows a slower, more selective cadence than the earlier release push, so it’s worth knowing what feels locked in and what still feels like a “wait and see” preview now.

New Star Wars Shatterpoint Roadmap

Updated on April 1st, 2026, by Rob Baer. This post has been updated with the latest Shatteproint pre-orders, AdeptiCon previews, Ministravaganza, and new release roadmap.

Shatteproint Release Schedule

New Roadmap from AdeptiCon 2025.

AdeptiCon 2025 blasted off with a pretty big Shatterpoint update as AMG rolled out a fresh roadmap preview, new miniatures, and several upcoming squad reveals. Compared to the older roadmap beats, this one feels more focused, with fewer broad promises, clearer era support, and a better sense of what is actually next.

Here are all the latest previews from AMG’s Star Wars Shatterpoint release schedule heading into 2026, assuming they were being truthful about the game still being “here to stay” after their brutal studio refocusing announcement.

The Future of AMG’s Shatterpoint Releases, After They Shift Focus

Shatterpoint Announcement

Star Wars: Shatterpoint is not officially dead, but it’s pretty clearly out of its growth phase. AMG moved the game into its “specialist core game line,” which is corporate-speak for “still around, still getting support, but don’t expect the same kind of steady release push.”

The bigger focus now is on Legion and Marvel: Crisis Protocol, which tells you where the studio sees the most upside. So for Shatterpoint players, this feels like a game settling into lighter support while AMG spends its time elsewhere.

What this means for buyers: expect a slower release cadence, fewer must-have surprise drops, and more reason to focus on the squads and eras you actually want instead of trying to collect everything.

Shatterpoint Rule Changes: May 2025

Shatterpoint balance

Shatterpoint got hit with one of its biggest balance shakeups yet, and for once, it wasn’t just a spreadsheet massage. There were real reworks, needed buffs, and a few hits to the usual overperformers.

  • Anakin: picked up a ranged attack, which gives him a lot more presence before he reaches the blender zone.
  • Ahsoka: finally feels like more than a support piece tagging along for moral support.
  • Mace Windu: got loosened up from awkward squad math, which makes him easier to slot into real lists.
  • Commander Ponds and Aurra Sing: both have reasons to come off the shelf instead of staying in the “maybe someday” pile.
  • Jango: took a small enough hit to stay slick, but not so small that he keeps feeling like an auto-include.
  • Big picture: Clone Troopers, Ewoks, and a bunch of overlooked units all got a little more breathing room in list building.

General anakin

If you’ve been ignoring certain units for months, this is probably the time to give them another look. A few of them went from binder weight to legitimate table consideration in a hurry.

Shatterpoint Character & Rules Balance Changes May 20206

Shatterpoint May Balance update

Shatterpoint Cards ChangesAMG  said a character rebalance is coming this May, with the dev team working on a round of rules updates meant to breathe some fresh life into a lot of minis across players’ collections. They previewed a few cards during the presentation, but for now we’re still waiting to see how big the changes really are and which characters end up getting the biggest shake-up.

Ministravaganza, AdeptiCon Shatterpoint 2026 Roadmap Timeline Preview

Shatterpoint’s next waves are a mix of safe bets, fan-favorite pulls, and a couple of bigger era pivots. Before getting into each pack, here is the short version of how the roadmap looks right now:

Window What’s on the roadmap What it means
Early 2026 “Secure the Future,” “My Loyalty, My Life,” and the Strategic Positions Mission Card Pack These look like the most concrete next releases, with cards shown and support materials already in motion.
Later 2026 Naboo-era teases plus sequel-era First Order and Resistance squads This is where the roadmap starts to broaden its timeline coverage, but with more teaser energy than hard-release certainty.

Secure the future Squad Pack

The “Secure the Future” squad pack brings Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati to the tabletop, complete with cards that highlight their calculated duelist playstyle and Force-powered combos.

My Loyalty Pack

Right behind them comes the “My Loyalty, My Life” pack featuring Morgan Elsbeth, Captain Enoch, and her Night Troopers, offering a creepy mix of disciplined melee units and necromantic support tricks that feel straight out of Ahsoka.

Both of these squads are slated for early next year, and AMG confirmed their full stat and ability cards are already finalized. That makes them feel a lot more real than the usual “logo on a slide” roadmap filler.

Looking Later into 2026

The Negotiations Will be Short

Starting with the prequels, it looks like spelling errors aside, Shatterpoint is going back to Naboo.

Next, AMG teased the next big era shift for Shatterpoint, and it’s a bold one. The game is moving into the Sequel Trilogy, with the First Order vs Resistance era officially on the roadmap.

That means new packs featuring Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, Zorii Bliss, and a host of Resistance and First Order troopers all making their debut later in 2026.

We are the Spark Squad Pack

No cards were shown yet, but the devs mentioned this wave will introduce new mechanics around “fanatical synergy” and “resource pressure,” hinting at First Order coordination abilities and fast-strike Resistance tactics.

This rollout looks like AMG trying to stretch Shatterpoint past its usual Clone Wars and Rebels comfort zone. If you are a prequel fan, Naboo looks like the next stop. If you have been waiting for sequel-era representation, this is the first real sign the door is finally opening.

Alone With Friends Squad Pack

  • I Will Finish What You Started Squad Pack
    • Kylo Ren
    • First Order trooper with riot shield
    • First Order trooper with shield and blaster
    • First Order trooper with blaster rifle
  • On My Command Squad Pack
    • Captain Phasma
    • First Order stormtrooper
    • First Order stormtrooper
    • First Order flametrooper
  • Alone With Friends Squad Pack
    • Han Solo
    • Chewbacca
    • Rey
    • BB-8
    • Finn
  • We Are the Spark Squad Pack
    • Poe Dameron
    • Zorii Bliss
    • Resistance trooper
    • Resistance trooper

All told, this looks like a pretty solid mix of headliner characters and supporting troops spread across the 2026-2027 lineup. Between Kylo and Phasma for the First Order, plus Han, Chewie, Rey, Finn, Poe, and Zorii on the Resistance side, AMG is clearly leaning into recognizable names while still padding the boxes out with enough squad support to make them feel like real releases instead of just character blisters.

Strategic Positions Mission Card Pack

Strategic positions

Alongside the character waves, AMG revealed a brand-new Strategic Positions Mission Card Pack that builds on the core mission system.

  • What it changes: fresh primary and secondary objectives, tighter scoring ranges, asymmetric deployments, and a physical home for the Galactic Legends 2v1 Mode.
  • Who it is for: players who want more mission variety, more cinematic table states, and another reason to make terrain-heavy boards feel like part of the game instead of background decoration.

The devs confirmed that print-and-play versions of these cards are already live, with the physical pack coming shortly after the first 2026 squad releases.

Shatterpoint Roadmap FAQs

When is the next Star Wars: Shatterpoint wave expected?

Based on the roadmap shown here, the next concrete wave looks set for early 2026, led by the Baylan Skoll and Morgan Elsbeth squad packs plus the Strategic Positions Mission Card Pack. Those are the releases that feel closest to the front of the line.

What is confirmed versus teased on the roadmap?

The early 2026 packs feel the most confirmed because AMG showed off finalized cards and clearer product framing. The later 2026 material, especially the sequel-era shift, looks more like a roadmap tease at this stage, which is exciting, but still a level below “start clearing shelf space immediately.”

What does the 2026 Shatterpoint cadence look like?

It looks lighter and more targeted than the earlier release push. Instead of a nonstop stream of reveals, the roadmap points to fewer waves, more focused themes, and a support pattern that fits AMG’s newer “specialist core game line” approach.

Is Shatterpoint Dead?

Not officially, no, but it sure looks like the game’s big growth phase is over. AMG said Shatterpoint is moving to a “specialist core game line,” which means it will still be available and supported, just with fewer releases while the studio puts more focus on Legion and Marvel: Crisis Protocol.

  • What “specialist” likely means: slower release spacing, fewer broad expansion waves, and a heavier focus on curated drops instead of constant additions.
  • What to watch next: whether AMG keeps pairing roadmap teases with finalized cards and mission support, because that is the best sign the line is still getting meaningful attention.

Final Thoughts on the Star Wars Shatterpoint Roadmap

shatterpoint roadmap new releases previews

With Star Wars: Shatterpoint, the roadmap now feels less like a giant flood of product and more like a planning document. That is not automatically bad. It just means you get a better chance to be selective, finish what is already on your desk, and decide which era or squad style is actually worth your hobby time.

Either way, here is a hobby checklist for what you can do while waiting on more Shatterpoint news from AMG:

  • Buy or build now: the squads you already own, plus anything that lines up with the current early 2026 direction.
  • Paint now: core pieces and terrain, because the mission pack and slower cadence make table-ready collections matter more than chasing every reveal.
  • Wait on: the later 2026 sequel-era teases until AMG starts showing fuller rules, firmer release timing, or preorder movement.
  • Watch next: whether the upcoming roadmap beats keep pairing reveals with actual cards and product detail, because that is where the line feels most alive right now.

From AdeptiCon’s roadmap reveal to Ministravaganza’s next squad packs, there’s still plenty here for Shatterpoint players to keep an eye on. The range is just a little more focused now, and honestly, that may make collection planning a whole lot easier.
