Today’s new Warhammer Rumor Engine preview looks like GW could be teasing a return to Kislev, or is this bear destined for 40k?
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

New Warhammer Rumor Engine Preview: September 1st, 2026
Well, it’s obviously a bear, but is it finally GW bringing back Kislev to the Old World? Or is this bear’s fate a little more grim, like a cloak on something like a Space Wolf?
GW has been showing off artwork and dropping hints about a reworked Kislev line for about six years now. While we can’t be certain, it sure feels like GW could be setting up the next massive release for Warhammer: The Old World. With Cathay out for a few years now, it makes sense to release something like Kislev to get eyes back on the game.
If it does end up being a cloak of some kind, Space Wolves could be right at the top of the list for 40k options. But of course, it could always be just about anything else, right down to a similar specialist miniature!
