Games Workshop has announced a new 40k Kroot Hunting Pack along with updated Underworlds releases, all hitting pre-order this Saturday!
The Kroot are loose! There’s good news this week for hobbyists who want to expand their 40k Tau Armies with Kroot or build new ones centered around melee now! Here are the new releases coming to pre-order with your favorite retailers on Saturday, March 16th, 2024, around 1 p.m. EST here in the States.
New 40k Kroot Hunting Pack Pre-Orders Revealed
These releases include the new Kroot Hunting Pack, Warhammer Underworlds releases include Zondara’s Gravebreakers, Rimelocked Relics, and Rivals of the Mirrored City. Additionally, there are new Necromunda miniatures and cards, including the Delaque Rogue Doc & Gang Lookout, Delaque Ash Wastes Upgrades, and Delaque and Zone Mortalis Gang Tactics Cards.
40k Kroot Hunting Pack Army Box Set
The Kroot Hunting Pack army set comes with 20 new plastic Kroot Carnivores and a Krootox Rider, led by a veteran Kroot War Shaper. Alongside them is a Flesh Shaper who empowers the pack through butchery rituals. Three Kroot Rampagers also join the pack, charging fearlessly into the enemy lines.
The Kroot Hunting Pack is the first place to find Codex: T’au Empire. This codex contains all the necessary 10th Edition 40k rules for the miniatures in the box, as well as rules for the rest of the T’au Empire’s forces.
You’ll also receive a pack of 44 cards that includes an army rule card, a double-sided drone rules card, four Combat Patrol datasheets, and 38 T’au Empire Datasheets. The Codex and cards come in a special cardboard slipcase with an elastic strap, making it convenient for you to carry them to your games.

Warhammer Underworlds: Zondara’s Gravebreakers
Zondara’s Gravebreakers is a new warband led by Zondara and Ferlain. The two have been separated by a curse that turned Ferlain into a snarling fiend. Using the bestial magic of Ghur and the forbidden power of necromancy, Zondara has raised a band of animated corpses to plunder the glacial depths of the Deathgorge and find a way to return her lover to his previous state.
This warband comes with a Rivals deck that uses undead thralls to unearth powerful upgrades for Zondara and Ferlain.
Warhammer Underworlds: Rimelocked Relics
Rimelocked Relics is a new card deck that breathes frosty new life into your warbands with special Rimelocked upgrades whose powerful abilities must be coaxed out with Thaw counters across the game. As this deck doesn’t come with any Gambit spell cards, it can be used by any warband in the game.
Warhammer Underworlds: Rivals of the Mirrored City
Rivals of the Mirrored City brings back four classic warbands from the early days of Warhammer Underworlds – Zarbag’s Gitz, Thorns of the Briar Queen, Mollog’s Mob, and Spiteclaw’s Swarm, revitalized and updated.
This set contains all four warbands and four new Rivals decks for each, featuring refined and updated cards.
