1st Place: Josh Roberts – Space Marines (Ultramarines) Army Lists
Josh showed up with blue armor, big guns, and two legends who never learned the word “subtle.”
This Ultramarines list was led by a Captain and Lieutenant—classic choices for buffs, re-rolls, and inspiring glares.
Then came the big guns: Marneus Calgar and Roboute Guilliman. One punches hard. The other is the law. For troops, Josh kept it tight. One Intercessor squad. Just enough bolter fire to hold ground and make their presence felt.
Two Ballistus Dreadnoughts stood tall behind them. They point, click, and whatever was over there probably isn’t anymore.
Company Heroes and Sternguard Veterans gave the list elite bite. Great weapons, tough profiles, and no patience for nonsense. A Scout Squad slipped in for early board presence. They don’t kill much, but they’re always exactly where you didn’t want them.
Then came the speed. Three Hammerstrike Speeders zipped around the board, blasting armor and backline units.
Each one’s fast, loud, and hard to ignore. Like a flying middle finger with missile pods. And to cap it all off—a Stormraven Gunship. It flew in, dropped pain, and dared anything to shoot back.
2nd Place: Andy Quas-Cohen – Necron Army Lists
3rd Place: Nathan Roberts – Death Guard Army Lists
Final Thoughts on Army Lists:
In the epic showdown at the Bristol Super Major, Space Marines flexed their blue might, Necrons brought their relentless robotic resilience, and Death Guard just… well, continued to be a little grimy
Each faction proved that distinct strengths can lead to victory in the competitive meta of Warhammer 40k.
If you’re planning to play in the next big tournament or just looking to spice up your games at home, take a page from these winners and remember: every unit counts, and sometimes, all you need is a good plan and a whole lot of models.
