This new Warhammer rumor engine preview appears to be a daemonic book, but could it be something a little more than that?
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

New Warhammer Rumor Engine Preview: May 19th, 2026
This new Warhammer rumor engine looks like some ‘peculiar’ symbols in a fancy book. It’s worth noting that it resembles but is not exactly the Chaos symbol.
That being said, Chaos or someone studying chaos is Age of Sigmar or Old World seem to be the cleanest placements for this bit!
As seen on the Dark Apotsle, fancy books (flames optional) are right at home for Chaos in all settings!
Still, we think if it’s not Chaos, fantasy settings are more likely since Chaos is less likely to be known there.
