This Warhammer rumor engine preview appears to be a base of an Imperium statue of some kind, but could it be for a primarch model or 11th edition objectives?
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

New Warhammer Rumor Engine Preview: March 17th, 2026
This new Warhammer rumor engine is obviously an imperial statue, but it’s actually harder to say what the bit will be on model-wise! We know it’s 40k, thanks to the Aquilas, but is it ruins being raided by Chaos/Xenos? Maybe it’s just a new set of generic terrain, or perhaps a new 11th Edition objective marker.
Just because the bit is obvious doesn’t make it easy to place!
These pillars from Guilliman’s scenic Horus Heresy base remind us that 30k or even a primarch model display bits are on the table too! Not to mention marble instead of stone to make it more regal.
Still, though, there’s just no telling what the final miniature will be!
From there, specialist games have plenty of potential too! Either way, this is a rumor engine with tons of possible options; it will be cool to see the future model when it is revealed!
