Games Workshop just updated the Eldar Autarch rules shortly after their 9th Edition codex release- check out what’s changing.
In a strange and fast move after the codex just dropped, GW is giving a new datasheet to the Autarch to include all the weapon options the kit actually comes with. Luckily, the update is free and has all the points built into the datasheet.
Warhammer Community put out why they are changing it so soon. If you want to download the whole thing, you can here. We’ll have it for you below. But it’s always good to grab the update while you’re thinking about it. Let’s check out the changes.
Updated 40k Eldar Autarch Rules From GW
Let’s hear from them about the changes:
The cleverest part is that it’s completely compatible with the other plastic Autarch in the Aeldari range. And they both come with a ton of bits to help you craft the splendid Aeldari general of your most murderous dreams. Quite a few of you have been in touch to ask whether this flexibility can be reflected in the datasheet (which currently assumes you own one or the other – but not both). Given that every Autarch is a unique hero to their Craftworld. We’ve decided to update the datasheet to reflect their extensive martial prowess.

So now you can build your Autarch with mandiblasters, a jump generator, a Banshee blade, and a fusion pistol for maximum decapitation potential, or perhaps with a Reaper launcher and Swooping Hawk wings if you want to sit up in the sky pinging missiles at poor unsuspecting enemy tanks.

Now, let’s check out the new datasheet.
The rest of the rules are the same, just now you can actually take advantage of the multi-part kit. This is cool they are updating it to reflect the kit. We’re just surprised they didn’t do this from the start.
