According to rumors, Age of Sigmar looks to be getting new battleforces releases for Christmas 2023 just like Warhammer 40k!
Age of Sigmar got a bunch of boxes last year, but from the sounds of it, we won’t be getting quite as many this time. Obviously, like with all rumors, take these with as much salt as you need because nothing is confirmed until GW says it!

RUMORS: New Games Workshop Christmas 2023 AoS Battleforces!
The new Age of Sigmar Battleforce rumors come from Valrak.
Last year, GW released seven boxes, but some rumors point toward them not selling very well. We don’t know if that is true, but this year, there is rumored to only be four boxes, which might give some credence to the lack of sales. Either way, it seems like we will get fewer boxes this year, but what armies will they be for?
The first rumored box is Slaves to Darkness. We even got an idea of the contents this time around. The rumors say there will be a lord on a horse (probably the Chaos Lord on Daemonic Mount), Chaos Warriors, and Chaos Knights (maybe Varanguard or just Chaos Knights with lore behind them?).
Considering they didn’t get a box last year, this would be a decent box for players who want a bunch of knights in one buy.
Next is a Seraphon box with a decent number of new minis inside. The rumors point toward Slann, Kroxigors, and Aggradon Lancers. They are one of the new reworks, and it would make sense for them to grab a box this time.
They basically only have new minis in the box, and we hope to see a couple of boxes of everything other than the Slann.
Lastly, we should be grabbing a Bonereapers box and a Soulblight box. However, we haven’t heard anything about their contents quite yet. Still, this is some good news if you’re a Death Player!
