New Kill Team Box Delivers More Votann & GSC Models

kill team terminationThe Yaegirs are another brand-new unit of Leagues of Votann that will battle the Genestealer Cults in the Kill Team Termination box!

It looks like this box will follow the normal pattern for Kill Team and 40k, with one brand new unit and one side’s forces getting an upgrade sprue. This time, the Leagues get the new unit with a bunch of weapon options, and the GSC will get the upgrade sprue.

Adepticon 2024 Preview 2

Attendees will be treated to an early screening of the Warhammer Preview Show: AdeptiCon 2024 at 8pm local time on Wednesday the 20th of March – that’s 1am in the UK the next day* – and everybody at home can get their first glimpse of the new reveals when the show goes live on Twitch at 3am GMT/10pm CDT. Check out the image below to find out when the awesome preview show will be live in your time zone.

Well, as we said, if you live on the other side of the pond, you’ll have to stay up quite late to catch the preview, but we’ll have all the reveals for you as well! The West Coast of the USA probably has the best timing for this preview!

Kill Team: Termination

Votann Kill TeamKill Team: Termination pits a group of Hernkyn scouts from the Leagues of Votann against Astra Militarum troopers who have been infected by a Genestealer Cult. This takes place amidst the glowing plasma coils of a power generator, pitting the grizzled Kin’s efficiency against the mad fanaticism of the Brood Brothers.

New Votann Models

Leagues of Votann YaegirsLet’s start with the brand-new minis! In Warhammer 40k, the Hernkyn are a common sight, but not all of them have access to high-speed hover-trikes like the Hernkyn Pioneers. Instead, there are Yaegirs, footbound frontiersmen who explore ahead of their Kindreds.

These Yaegirs wear giant greatcoats to protect themselves from the elements and carry various powerful and flexible weapons.

Hernkyn Yaegirs

Leagues of Votann YaegirsThey seem to have all kinds of weapons, and the kit itself looks amazing. While they didn’t mention much about the 40k rules, we assume they will be free to download when the kit drops. In Kill Team, they will have a bunch of bombs, traps, and plenty of weapons.

Hernkyn Yaegirs are armed with bolt shotguns, pistols, plasma knives, and more for up-close combat. For added firepower, they use a magnet-coil sniper rifle and an adaptive payload missile launcher – to solve any problem, quietly or not.

Leagues of Votann YaegirsIf we had to guess, they would probably be infiltrators, have stealth, and have some exciting weapon options for Warhammer 40k.

New Genestealer Cults Upgrade Kit

Leagues of Votann YaegirsThis box will come with an upgrade sprue for Brood Brothers and, of course, a Patriarch as well! These upgrades provide some new weapons, head options, and bits for the Genestealer Cults. Like most of the kits, it will let you set your Brood Brothers apart from all the other minis out there.

With the brand-new units and upgraded sprue, the new Kill Team Termination box featuring the Leagues of Votann and the Genestealer Cults may be another must-have for Warhammer 40k Votann and Kill Team players alike.
