From Space Marines to the new Sector Imperialis terrain bundles we got your covered! Come to take a look at what to buy next for your Warhammer 40k collection.
Games Workshop has a slew of new releases this week! We are going to take a look at it all so you can decide what’s hot and what’s not and spend your hard earned hobby dollars accordingly.
First up are the new Imperial Sector and the Derelict Factorum along with the much anticipated American release of Space Marines Heroes Series one.
In our unboxing video below Rob goes over how Games Workshop has a certain number of repeated sprues that you will see in each of the Sector Imperials boxes, so if you are looking to builds something custom you can hunt down the specific sprues you may need.
The new Imperial Sector kit for $130 includes a lot of Sprues for the $130 price tag. This kit comes with three Ruins Sprues, three of the Ruins & Floor Sprues, and four of the two-story Wall Sections Sprue. That is a pretty decent value as far as terrain goes and can create some great terrain features.
You can make either three of the Administradum kits with a leftover ruins sprue, or two of those, and one Sanctum kit minus the cool buttresses and statues.
Then we take a look at the new $100 Derelict Factorum, which unlike the sector, comes with some familiar sprues and some brand new ones as well. Check out this new sprue that has a great mix of Sector Imperialis and Sector Mechanicus aspects and would work great to kind of bridge the gap between the two styles of terrain.
Last, but not least, we have the American release of series one of Space Marine Heroes This is a blind box system and a great way to collect alternate sculpts for your favorite Space Marine Chapter. For more on series one check out our previous unboxing and preview articles
