More Sisters of Battle are here as GW revealed the new Adepta Sororitas Reliquant at Arms, complete with a splendid banner- check it out!
Warhammer Community unveiled the newest installment of the Battle Sister Bulletin in the form of a new standard-bearer. The Sisters are all about inspiring themselves to even greater acts of faith, and what’s more inspiring than your standard flying high above the battlefield?
The Reliquant at Arms are protectors of holy relics, so there’s a chance you’ll be able to take them with more than just this banner. It also seems this will be a named character, Aestred Thurga, with the possible option to take a generic one as well. Let’s take a closer look!

Aestred Thurga
The Sister known as Aestred Thurga has dedicated her life to the protection of one relic above all others, the wonderfully named Auto-Tapestry of the Emperor’s Judgement. Weaved across the lifespans of five Canonesses and thrumming with the holy power of the Emperor’s gaze, the Auto-Tapestry (and its indomitable custodian) can be found in the records of some of the bloodiest battles the Adepta Sororitas have ever faced.
With this having been in so many battles, we imagine it will give quite the buff in-game. They also mention she is a master of combat, so she may be worth throwing in headfirst and bringing down some enemies while waving the banner high.
The banner itself is resplendent with detail, topped with an ornate crown of iron and the skull of a devout, while its bearer strikes a more restrained figure wearing austere robes over her armour, and carrying the mighty Blade of Vigil.
The banner itself looks amazing and will be quite a fun painting challenge. All we’ll say about the face is we’re glad it looks to come with a helmet option- oof. Let’s just hope some of the recent heads are just prototypes and will be cleaned up by the time the release fully comes out…
