Every Warhammer fan and hobbyist knows that November means one thing—The World Championships of Warhammer! This year, there aren’t only going to be the tournaments but also another big reveal of what to expect next for Warhammer!
Let’s break down what we saw for Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar, Kill Team, Legions Imperialis, and Warhammer Underworlds. So, no matter what you play or collect, there will be plenty to see from these previews!
GW Reveals Next Big Preview: World Championships of Warhammer
The World Championships just wouldn’t feel right without a mountain of reveals to stir up some excitement, and this year’s online preview is set to deliver. Tune in on November 21-23rd to feast your eyes on a buffet of upcoming new releases for Warhammer!

Expected Reveals at the World Championships of Warhammer
New Warhammer 40k Codex Release Date Roadmap For 2024-25
In 2024, Games Workshop is slowing its release Date schedule, going to pre-recorded Warhammer Roadmap previews that don’t even show new 40k models, just simply mentions of upcoming releases by studio staff. The new 10th Edition 40k Codex Roadmap is here from Games Workshop, and currently, a whopping 17 upcoming Warhammer 40k codex books will be released by early 2024-25!
Straight from Warhammer Community, here are all the details on what new rules are on the way. However, none of this was shown off at the Warhammer Day Preview, so expect to see plenty of Astra Militarum, Knights, and Eldar (we hope.)
New Age of Sigmar (AoS) Release Battletomes Roadmap Heading Into 2025
With the new Warhammer Age of Sigmar edition now available, it’s prime time to map out what’s next. It seems Destruction and Death will steal the spotlight early in 2025, with at least a couple of battletomes on the horizon, along with new models for the next “season” of Age of Sigmar.
GW mentioned what would happen with new battletomes for the launch of 4th Edition in their previews, and now we know Skaven will be the first book and models out of the gate for Age of Sigmar, followed by Stormcast Eternals and the Slaves to Darkness. However, we saw the Slaves to Darkness book revealed at the Warhamemr Day Preview, so we might get Destruction taking front and center at the preview!
Warhammer The Old World 2025 Roadmap: Empire, High Elves, & Chaos Release Dates
The Empire is marching, the High Elves are scheming, and Chaos is, well, doing what Chaos does best: stirring up trouble. The Old World is about to get a whole lot more interesting, as the new release roadmap promises many exciting Warhammer miniatures for the game in the coming months, along with these release dates.
With so much on the horizon, it’s hard not to be excited about what they will reveal next. But, at this rate, it looks like we’ll most likely see the Empire of Man answer the call to arms!
