This new Warhammer Rumor Engine preview looks like a new caster with swirling energy, or could it be something else entirely?
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

New Warhammer Rumor Engine Preview: June 30th, 2026
This new Warhammer rumor engine looks like some sort of swirling magic. However, that doesn’t make it easy to place: undead like Nighthaunt in AoS or even Necrons in 40k are all clear possibilities of where we could see this pattern on release.
That being said, even traditional sorcerers in AoS are possible, as it could be any type of magic.
Plenty of death models in AoS have the same type of swirling energy, so that seems most likely.
Still, it could always be anything really, or a specialist miniature that’s not AoS at all!
