Get a free new AoS Flesh-eater Courts Cryptguard mini alongside the latest GW coin promotion for the April 2026 Warhammer miniature of the month!
That’s right, it’s back again, and it’s FREE! Each month, Games Workshop offers a free Warhammer miniature of the month at their stores based on the latest faction release, along with a promo coin offer.
It’s a fantastic way to try out new painting techniques or start a new faction without breaking the bank.
Here are all the details on that free mini offer, along with a few more promos from Games Workshop in April.
Free Miniature of the Month Warhammer Promo: April 2026
Updated on March 30th, 2026, by Rob Baer with the latest promo details from GW.
- April 2026 free mini is a Flesh-eater Courts Cryptguard: grab it at a GW Warhammer store while supplies last
- $100 spend gets the coin: if it’s in stock, the Adeptus Custodes coin should be yours with a $100+ purchase, simple as that.
- When available: GW says the coin and mini will be available on April 4th.
- Overseas assembly rule: in Australia, Europe, New Zealand, and the UK, you’ll need to assemble the free mini in-store.
- More freebies and side quests: bring-a-friend gets a free Stormcast or Infernus Marine, plus the Million Miniatures Challenge is still running.

Why You Should Grab It:
Cryptguard is the kind of Age of Sigmar infantry that immediately sells the whole undead vibe. They look ancient, armored, and just eerie enough to stand out without getting too busy. The sculpt has that classic Soulblight feel, with layered armor, worn cloth, and enough skeletal detail to make the model feel grim without turning it into a painting chore.
On the hobby side, keep the palette tight and don’t overcomplicate it. Let the armor, bone, and cloth each have its own clear tone, then lean on a solid wash and a few sharp highlights to do the heavy lifting.
For a quick visual boost, push the contrast where it matters most: darker recesses between the ribs and armor plates, brighter edges on the shield and helm, and a slightly different shade on the fabric so the details do not blur together from across the table.
GW’s Collectible Coin Promo For April

How to Score Your Miniature of the Month & Coin
The Citadel collectible coin promo and free miniature of the month are available while supplies last, at your local Games Workshop Warhammer store. Which means you might be able to get the coin and the free mini on an all-in-one trip, which is cool.
Either way, all you have to do is visit the store, and if it’s in stock, the coin should be yours when you spend $100 or more, no matter how you slice it.
Latest Changes for the Promo
Don’t forget that the rules for this promo overseas changed, too. If you get your mini in Australia, Europe, New Zealand, or the UK, you will need to assemble it in-store. We’re honestly not sure why the change occurred, but if you’re in any of those countries, you can’t just walk out the door with it like here in the States, sadly.
More Free Warhammer Miniature of the Month Style Offers
In addition to their Warhammer Miniature of the Month promo, Games Workshop also has a miniature to score if you bring a friend with you to a corporate store!

They can choose either a free Stormcast Eternal or an Infernus Marine push-fit miniature, and start learning how to paint it right there at the store!
Million Miniatures Challenge

If you do have a store nearby, pick a pledge you can realistically finish, keep your tracking card updated, and show up early because “while supplies last” usually means “blink and it’s gone.”
Free Miniature Offer For Lt. Titus Is Still Happening
You can’t get this one at a Games Workshop store, but you can score a free LT. Titus Miniature with the new Warhammer 40k Character Encyclopedia that is on sale right now over on Amazon.
Final Thoughts on the Latest Warhammer Miniature of the Month Promo from GW
Sure, the Flesh-eater Courts grabbed a lot of new minis recently, but getting one for free is always a fun bonus. Might as well get a free mini to mess around with paint schemes for a brand-new court appearance. Also, what Flesh-eater Courts king doesn’t need more little Cryptguard running around?
And honestly, even if Flesh-eater Courts isn’t your thing, who’s ever complained about a free miniature landing on their desk?
Either way, April’s free Warhammer miniature of the month and collectible coin offer is a great opportunity to visit your local Games Workshop store and bring a friend along.
