AoS AdeptiCon ArmyAdeptiCon 2026 brought in players from all over the world, and plenty of them showed up with absolutely killer Age of Sigmar armies. You could tell a ton of time, effort, and hobby love went into these forces, and it really showed on the tables.

Here is a quick preview of some of the armies we caught at the event. Keep an eye out, because more in-depth features on these hobby masterpieces are on the way.

This Lumineth Realm-lords force looked incredible from pretty much every angle. The terrain piece on the board grabbed your attention right away, but once you started looking closer, there was just as much care put into every single model. The skin tones, the cloaks, the armor, all of it looked crisp and deliberate.

It had that polished, high-end fantasy look Lumineth armies are supposed to have, but without feeling sterile. Everything still had character, and the whole display came together like a proper centerpiece army rather than just a collection of nicely painted units.

Fyreslayers With a Green Flame Twist

Fyreslayers AdeptiCon ArmyThese Fyreslayers skipped the usual orange-heavy look and went with a striking green scheme instead, and honestly, it worked way better than you might expect. It gave the army a fresh feel while still keeping all the fire, rage, and over-the-top dwarven energy you want from Fyreslayers.

Once the smoke effects kicked in, the whole thing really came alive. It looked great on the table, felt different from the usual take on the faction, and had enough presence to make opponents pay attention before the first dice even rolled.

Daughters of Khaine as if Khaine Won

Daughters of Khaine AdeptiCon Army

Daughters of Khaine AdeptiCon ArmyThis Daughters of Khaine army had a killer concept and actually pulled it off on the table. The whole force felt like it was built around the idea of Khaine surviving the End Times, and the result was packed with style, fire effects, and a ton of attitude. It looked dramatic in all the right ways without turning into visual overload.

Between the strong brushwork, the bold theme, and the display board tying it all together, this was one of those armies that immediately told a story. You did not need an explanation standing next to it to get the vibe.

Soulblight Gravelords With a Frozen Spectral Look

Soulblight Gravelords AdeptiCon Army

Soulblight Gravelords AdeptiCon ArmyThis Soulblight Gravelords army leaned hard into the ghostly side of the range, and it absolutely worked. The green and black color scheme gave everything a cold, haunted look, while the conversions and centerpiece models added even more personality across the force. It had that perfect undead mix of elegance, menace, and just enough weirdness to keep your eyes moving from unit to unit.

The snow-covered display board really sealed the deal, too. It pulled the whole army together and made it feel like these vampires and spirits were marching straight out of some cursed winter graveyard.

Kharadron Overlords Converted Into Full Goblin-Rider Chaos

Kharadron Overlords AdeptiCon Army

Kharadron Overlords AdeptiCon ArmyThis Kharadron Overlords army went all in on the conversions, and that is what made it such a blast to look at. Pretty much every model had been reworked into a green goblin-style rider setup, which gave the whole force a completely different personality without losing the feel of the army underneath. It was creative, weird, and exactly the kind of hobby swing that pays off when someone commits all the way.

If you are looking for inspiration on how to rework an entire army instead of just tossing a few head swaps on a unit and calling it done, this was the one to study. Every piece felt like part of the same big idea, and that kind of consistency is what really made it stand out.

Maggotkin of Nurgle Straight Out of the Garden

Maggotkin of Nurgle AdeptiCon Army

Maggotkin of Nurgle AdeptiCon ArmyIf you ever wanted to know what Nurgle’s garden might look like on the tabletop, this army had you covered. It mixed rot, filth, and gross organic texture in a way that felt disgusting but still weirdly impressive. That balance is not easy to hit, but this force got there.

What really worked was how the grime did not just look slapped on. It felt deliberate. The whole army had that swollen, diseased, festering look Nurgle fans want, and it still read clearly enough that you could appreciate all the work that went into it.

Orruk Warclans Bringing the Heat in Red

Orruk Warclans AdeptiCon ArmyThis Orruk Warclans force leaned hard into red, and it paid off. The whole army had a really aggressive look, with the color choice giving it extra punch before you even got to the big centerpiece models. A Maw-Krusha and shaman up front gave the force a ton of presence, and the rest of the army backed that up with strong, clean painting throughout.

It had the kind of look that felt simple in concept but tough to pull off well, and this army managed it. Nothing felt flat, and the bold scheme gave the whole force a real smash-first, ask-questions-never kind of energy.

Disciples of Tzeentch Done Right in Blue and Gold

Disciples of Tzeentch AdeptiCon Army

Disciples of Tzeentch AdeptiCon ArmyThis Disciples of Tzeentch army looked exactly like the kind of force you want serving the god of change. Bright blues, rich golds, and plenty of magical nonsense were all over the place in the best way possible. From a towering Lord of Change down to the smaller followers, the whole army had that classic Tzeentch mix of beauty, chaos, and danger.

What made it work was how cohesive it all felt. Tzeentch armies can sometimes get messy fast if the colors do not land, but this one kept everything sharp and readable while still feeling flashy and over the top.

Seraphon Packed With Color and Big Dinosaur Energy

Seraphon AdeptiCon Army

Seraphon AdeptiCon Army

Seraphon AdeptiCon ArmyThis Seraphon army really showed off what makes the faction so cool in the first place. There were scales, monsters, powerful characters, and all the bright color you could want from an army full of magical space lizards. It had a ton of variety across the force, but it still felt unified from one unit to the next.

Big lizards always help, obviously, but this army was doing more than just throwing dinosaurs at the problem. The paintwork helped each model stand out while still keeping that unmistakable Seraphon identity across the whole display.

Kharadron Overlords Taking to the Skies in Style

Kharadron Overlords AdeptiCon Army

Kharadron Overlords AdeptiCon ArmyThis Kharadron Overlords army really nailed the look of a force willing to do anything to protect its fleet and make a profit while doing it. The ships looked fantastic, the colors worked together really well, and the whole army had that polished sky-port feel that makes the faction so fun in Age of Sigmar.

The display board added that extra bit of love that helps an army feel complete instead of just arranged. It was a strong reminder that even with a model range full of flying boats and armored duardin, presentation still matters a ton.

Nighthaunt on a Coffin-Shaped Display Board

Nighthaunt AdeptiCon Army

Nighthaunt AdeptiCon Army

Nighthaunt AdeptiCon ArmyThis Nighthaunt army already had the paint job to get attention, but the coffin-shaped display board was what really pushed it over the top. That is the kind of choice that instantly gets people to stop and take a closer look, and it fit the army perfectly. It was thematic, clever, and just dramatic enough without feeling forced.

The army itself looked great too, with all the ghostly details and spectral effects you would want from Nighthaunt. Still, let’s be honest, when you show up with a coffin board, you know exactly what you are doing.

Final Thoughts on the AdeptiCon 2026 AoS Army Showcase

AoS Display BoardAnd there you have it, another stacked lineup of incredible armies that made the Age of Sigmar displays at AdeptiCon 2026 such a standout part of the event. From glowing effects and huge centerpiece models to smoky display boards and armies packed with character, the level of creativity on display was just ridiculous. Some of these forces looked ready for a trophy case, while others had the kind of ideas that make you want to head home and finally start that project you have been putting off.

If you’re feeling inspired, or maybe just a little called out by how good some of these armies were, that’s part of the fun. Every great-looking army starts with one model, one paint scheme, and one hobby session that gets the ball rolling.
