The 40k Christmas Box for Space Wolves, the Champions of Fenris, is here, and if you’re thinking about buying the battleforce, we break down the models, value, and who it’s for.
The Space Wolves are getting a Christmas Battleforce box full of Terminators that hinges on nothing but that very same tactical dreadnought armor.
We’re going to break down what’s actually inside the Battleforce: Space Wolves Champions of Fenris, what it’s likely to cost, when pre-orders may land, and whether the value is real (especially since this one is basically all Terminators).
- What’s in the Battleforce: Space Wolves Champions of Fenris: one Logan Grimnar, one Arjac Rockfist, and 15 Wolf Guard Terminators.
- Value is solid: itemized MSRP comes out to $340.50, putting savings at roughly $75.50 versus the estimated $265 box price.
- Tabletop take: 17 miniatures and around 800 points, almost all of it Terminator armor, so you’re getting a very tough core but not much else.
- Pricing: Assumed to be the new price increase amount of $265 for Battleforces.
- Release Date: TBD, but usually either goes on pre-order or hits store shelves on Black Friday, which could be on or around Nov 27th, 2026.
Space Wolves Battleforce Champions of Fenris Contents Review
Space Wolves Battleforce Champions of Fenris Release Date & Retail Price:
- Release Date: November 27th, 2026 (unverified so far, but the boxes usually hit shelves or go on pre-order on Black Friday)
- Space Wolves Champions of Fenris Battleforce Retail Price (MSRP/RRP): $265 (USD). Regional pricing is listed below. This price is estimated from the recent Battleforce box price increase, and the actual price hasn’t been revealed yet.
So at the expected $265 price, Champions of Fenris saves about $75.50 (22%) compared with $340.50 in separate kits and includes roughly 800 points of models. That puts it right in line with the rest of the 2026 40k Christmas Battleforce lineup, at least on paper.
Space Wolves Champions of Fenris Contents:
- 1x Logan Grimnar
- 1x Arjac Rockfist
- 15x Wolf Guard Terminators
Space Wolves 40k Christmas Box Values & Pricing
GW looked at the Space Wolves and decided the answer to everything is more Terminators, which, honestly, is pretty on brand. Three full boxes of Wolf Guard in Tactical Dreadnought Armor, with the Great Wolf in front and his personal champion right beside him, is about as blunt as an army gets.
The current Logan Grimnar kit comes with his two thunderwolves, Tyrnak and Fenrir, which is a big part of why he’s the priciest single kit in here at $76. Add Arjac and his hammer, and you’ve got two characters who want to walk into combat with a pile of Terminators at their backs.

Is This Space Wolves Box Worth It?
Well, you’re getting around $75.50 in savings with Champions of Fenris, which is a little on the low side for a Warhammer Christmas box. Luckily, unlike the Blood Angels box, this value all comes from minis, so you’re not wasting value on an upgrade sprue.
Plus, 17 miniatures looks small at first, until you realize 15 of them are Terminators at $72 a box. Honestly, if you were already planning to field a big Wolf Guard brick, this is about as good as it gets from GW at full retail.
Here’s the catch: it’s 15 of the same unit, which makes this box a simple decision for players. If you want Terminators, buy it. If you don’t, well, pass on this.
How Many Points Is This?
We would guess the Battleforce Space Wolves points are somewhere around 800, based on the latest Munitorum Field Manual points with the Terminators run as a unit of 10 and a unit of 5.
What to Buy Next?
Honestly, if you want Champions of Fenris to feel like a proper army instead of 17 very expensive models plodding up the board together, start with some Blood Claws or Wulfen so you’ve got faster bodies to grab objectives while the Terminators do the slow, grinding work in the middle.
After that, a support character like a Wolf Guard Battle Leader or Njal Stormcaller gives you more options for leading the other units, because Logan and Arjac can only be in one fight at a time.
Finally, add a Gladiator Lancer, Ballistus Dreadnought, or some other reliable anti-tank firepower, depending on what your army needs. Check the Space Wolves army guide for what fits your detachment, so your Terminators aren’t stuck chasing enemy armor across the table while everything else tries to solve the problem with a frost axe.
Final Thoughts on the Space Wolves Battleforce
Honestly, Champions of Fenris makes the Blood Angels box look thin. Same estimated price, same savings, but every dollar is in models, and Logan with his thunderwolves is a centerpiece most Wolves players were going to want sooner or later.
So it really comes down to whether you want 15 Terminators in your collection. If you’re starting Space Wolves or you’ve been eyeing a Wolf Guard brick, we’d grab this one when pre-orders open, probably around Black Friday. If you’re not sold on that many Terminators, you’re better off buying Logan by himself and putting the rest of the money toward the units your army is actually missing.
