This new Warhammer Rumor Engine preview could be a new Old World or Age of Sigmar Chaos glaive with something chained to it, or could it be something else?
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

New Warhammer Rumor Engine Preview: June 9th, 2026
This new Warhammer rumor engine looks like an obvious new Chaos glaive. We might know what the bit is, but it doesn’t make it easy to choose a model.
Chaos in the Age of Sigmar and the Old World look most likely thanks to the design and the shaft looking wooden. The chain suggests something hanging, probably a head or more iconography.
There really is no shortage of reasonable predictions! There’s a ton of character possibilities, or even character-like models like Varanguard! It’s of course possible to be a more standard chosen or even battleline model too.
Still, it could always be anything Chaos, or a wild terrain piece that’s not Chaos at all!
