New Weta Workshop Warhammer Statues: Dark Angels + Blood Angels Hit $499

weta workshop blood angels and dark angels figuresWeta Workshop’s new Warhammer statues are up for pre-order, with Dark Angels and Blood Angels getting premium $500 1:10 scale models shipping in Q1 2027.

Weta Workshop just added two new Warhammer statues to the Wētā Warhammer collection, and if you play either Dark Angels or Blood Angels, this is the kind of release that might have your wallet quaking in fear. The Dark Angels Veteran and Blood Angels Intercessor Sergeant both come in at 1:10 scale and are now live for pre-order at $499, with a Q1 2027 shipping window.

This is also where the Weta Workshop’s Warhammer line really diverges from helmets, named characters, and giant models (most are 1:6 instead of 1:10). Either way, two of the most-collected first-founding Space Marine chapters just hit the centerpiece statue tier at the same time.

ARTICLE SUMMARY:
  • Two new Weta Workshop 1:10 scale Warhammer statues are live for pre-order: Dark Angels Veteran and Blood Angels Intercessor Sergeant.
  • Both come in at $499 with a 25% non-refundable deposit, shipping Q1 2027 from US, EU, and NZ warehouses.
  • This is the first time the Weta line has put either chapter on the centerpiece statue tier instead of stopping at the $99 helm-replica shelf.

For Years, Dark Angels and Blood Angels got the $99 Helm and Nothing Else

Dark Angels WetaWeta has been working through this Games Workshop partnership since Lieutenant Titus first showed up at Warhammer World, but the actual release roster has stayed pretty narrow. The 1:6 scale tier has included Mephiston, Abaddon, Celestine, Skragrott, and Neave Blacktalon. While the 1:10 scale tier had Boingrot Bounder, and that was about it.

Dark Angels and Blood Angels collectors did get $99 helm replicas, though, and a bit of a long wait.

Blood Angels HelmetThat changed this week. Both chapters landed at once, at the same price point. With how awesome they look, now it might be time to buy a $500 Marine…

The Dark Angels Veteran is a Plasma-Sprint Through a Wrecked Ship

DARK ANGELS VETERAN

The Dark Angels Veteran isn’t Lion El’Jonson or Azrael; sure, it’s a Veteran, sprinting through the wreckage of a ship interior with a plasma pistol raised and a power sword ready for the next swing. Weta frames it around the Sons of the Lion delivering absolution, and for once, that product page actually lines up with the model’s composition 100%.

Dark Angels Weta Size

The specs are pretty impressive, and it should be for something this expensive, honestly. The Veteran measures 10.6″ x 12.2″ x 11″ (27 by 31 by 28 cm), weighs 7.341 lbs, and is made from polystone with polyurethane secondary parts.

It’s a real shelf piece with a base packed full of twisted metal, broken panels, and scattered ship debris, which fits how the Chapter actually fights.

The Blood Angels Intercessor Sergeant Drops a Severed Ork Arm Into a Swamp

BLOOD ANGELS INTERCESSOR SERGEANT

The Dark Angels statue has the motion, but the Blood Angels Intercessor Sergeant may have the stronger identity on the shelf. Weta places him in a “cloying mire of a swamp-filled death world,” with the Sergeant cutting through Orks.

The base itself has layered mud, slick water effects, scattered debris, and a freshly severed Ork arm bleeding into the bog, which is perfect for anyone battling a lot of Orks from the Armageddon box.

Blood Angels Weta Workshop Size

This one is a little more compact on the specs: 7.8″ x 10.7″ x 9″ (20 by 27 by 23 cm), 5.071 lbs, with the same polystone and polyurethane materials and the same sculptor pair. The loadout swaps over to a bolt rifle and a combat knife instead of a plasma pistol and a power sword, which makes sense for an Intercessor Sergeant.

Both Pieces Are $499 with a 25% Deposit, Shipping Q1 2027

Blood Angels Weta Workshop If you’ve been skipping the 1:6-scale pieces because they’re just in the stratosphere, the 1:6 line runs from $799 for Skragrott up to $1,799 for Celestine, with Mephiston at $1,699 and Titus and Abaddon sitting in between. This 1:10 scale tier at $499 cuts that entry price by more than half while still giving you a statue that can hold its own in a Space Marine chapter’s display. Let’s be honest, $500 is still a lot, but at least it’s not a full rent payment.

Both statues do require a 25% non-refundable deposit at pre-order, with delivery estimated for Q1 2027 from Weta’s US, EU, and NZ warehouses. That’s a long lead time, and the deposit is enough money to think about before clicking through for sure.

You can order the Dark Angels Veteran at this link and the Blood Angels Intercessor Sergeant here if you want to double-check the listing before locking anything in.

Third-party sellers are already listing them across the world, too. Spec Fiction Shop has a $50 starter deposit on the Veteran, and FYE also has them for sale, which we also saw when the Lieutenant Titus model first hit retail.

So, if you’re putting money down, it’s worth checking secondary retailers near you before going directly through Weta to get the same statue for less!

Final Thoughts on Weta Workshop Warhammer Statues

Blood Angels Weta Workshop Close up

The next obvious question is which Space Marine chapter Weta makes next, as the Marine-chapter statue tier is now officially here!

Two of the biggest first-founding chapters just got their centerpiece pieces, and there are plenty of obvious candidates waiting: Space Wolves, Ultramarines, Imperial Fists, Salamanders, and Iron Hands. The Xenos side is still mostly untouched, too, with Eldar, T’au, and Necrons still waiting for something beyond a helm replica as well.

The deposit-and-wait setup is the only drawback; see, because Q1 2027 already feels pretty far off, but it’s really only about six months away. Regardless, we can’t wait to see which chapter goes up for pre-order next from Weta!
