GW Drops New Free Gifts & Warhammer Store Anniversary Miniatures For 2026

warhammer stores exclusive miniature lineup for 2026 painted models

New Warhammer store anniversary miniatures and bonuses are here for 2026, including the Aeldari Autarch, Vampire Lord, Daemonsmith, dice, mats, and more.

Warhammer store anniversaries are the hobby’s built-in excuse to show up and “accidentally” leave with a bag that weighs the same as a small Dreadnought. Games Workshop has lined up fresh exclusives for the next round of celebrations, with two new limited-run minis and a stack of in-store extras tied to spending thresholds.

If your local Warhammer store has an anniversary coming up, there’s a nine-day window of availability for these miniatures, so don’t miss out!

Updated on January 19th, 2026, by Rob Baer with the latest information and commemorative miniatures.

In 2026, Games Workshop’s stores will mark their opening anniversary with a nine-day celebration. That means hobby hangouts, games, and a short availability period for exclusive Warhammer store anniversary miniatures.

So it goes without saying that these anniversary minis are not “whenever you feel like it” purchases. They show up for the store’s birthday stretch, then they are gone. If you play Aeldari in 40k, or run Soulblight in Age of Sigmar, this may be one to mark on your calendar. Now, they are also giving out bonus minis when you spend $100 in official GW stores for a limited time.

New In-Store Bonus Miniatures

For the first time since the COVID days, Games Workshop is back to dangling a store bonus mini if you drop $100 or more. Last time they ran a promo like this (remember the Catachan Colonel and Sergeant?), you had to snag them through local game stores, which was honestly the best version of this deal.

It would be great to see that again, but this one looks like it is sticking to official GW stores instead.

GW says there are “no strings attached,” but yeah, one big one is that you still have to spend $100 to get the mini, and gift vouchers don’t count toward that total.

If you’ve ever walked into a Warhammer shop with a plan and left with a box, a paint, and somehow three extra kits, you already know spending that much is basically a warmup. So, if you’re going to hit the threshold anyway, you might as well scoop the bonus mini while you are at it.

Daemonsmith Ull Zuru (Helsmiths of Hashut)

Daemonsmith Ull Zuru (Helsmiths of Hashut)

Daemonsmith Ull ZuruDaemonsmith Ull Zuru is stomping into Warhammer stores as a brand-new Commemorative Series mini that you can score by spending ÂŁ100 or more in one transaction at your local Warhammer store starting January 31.

He is “free” while stocks last, with the usual catch that vouchers do not count, and as a Commemorative Series model, he uses standard rules so he can stand in for a normal Daemonsmith.

Also, another thing to think about, he comes on a larger base for that obsidian altar, so you’ll want to swap him onto a standard 32mm base for Matched Play Tournaments.

Warhammer Store Anniversary Miniatures Lineup

You can grab the new minis starting in February 2026, with two very different flavors: a sleek Aeldari command energy for 40k and a gothic duel-hungry menace for Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

Path of Command Autarch (Aeldari)

Path of Command Autarch miniAutarchs sit in a sweet spot for Aeldari players: character centerpiece, leadership abilities, and a model that looks like it actually belongs at the front of a fast-moving warhost. The Path of Command Autarch comes armed with a dragon fusion pistol and a star glaive, plus that classic Autarch silhouette with a dramatic back banner that screams “look at me!”

Path of Command Autarch mini DetailsThis is one of those “buy it once, use it forever” minis, even if your Autarch loadout changes with future points and rules updates. It looks the part, and it will always read as an Autarch from across the table.

Korthrain, the Crimson Blade (Vampire Lord)

Korthrain the Crimson BladeOn the other side of the hobby aisle, Korthrain, the Crimson Blade, is a Soulblight Blight Lord’s Vampire Lord wrapped in ornate armor, swinging an elegant duelist weapon with the kind of smug confidence that makes opponents want to overcommit just to wipe that grin off the model’s face.

Korthrain the Crimson Blade DetailsIf you like Vampire Lords, this one feels built for the centerpiece hero slot, even if it ends up living in your display case more than your list.

Store Anniversary Extras and Free Gifts

Warhammer matThe anniversary minis are the headline, but the Warhammer store anniversary gifts and extras are where some people quietly win big, especially if you were already planning a restock.

anniversary DiceScoring the extras is pretty easy. Shop in-store during the anniversary period, and you can earn extras for each $50 increment you spend, starting at $100, up to $200 total (or your local currency). It’s okay, we all know it’s not hard to spend $200 on Warhammer.

anniversary 40k Gaming MatsWhat’s on the menu:

  • Metal Warhammer dice: Heavy, satisfying, and loud in the best way. If you like chunky dice, these are the kind that feel like they roll with authority.
  • Dice rolling mat: Great for protecting painted tables, keeping dice from launching into another dimension, and cutting down on clatter.
  • Double-sided 44”x30” neoprene gaming mat: A seriously useful size for Combat Patrol games in 40k, plus small-format Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Neoprene mats make pickup games cleaner and faster.

40k Anniversary pinsThere are pin badges for Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar too, available while stocks last (aka, we have no idea how many they are getting). Ask your store manager how they are handling badge claims at your location.

Final Thoughts: Make Your Warhammer Store Anniversary Plan Now

If you love exclusive minis, the 2026 Warhammer store anniversary lineup is a clean hit: a sharp Aeldari Autarch for 40k collectors and a stylish Vampire Lord for Soulblight fans, tied to a short nine-day availability window starting in February. Stack that with in-store anniversary extras like metal Warhammer dice and a double-sided neoprene gaming mat, and you have a strong reason to show up in person.

The best move is simple: find your store’s anniversary dates, build a sensible shopping list, and treat the celebration like a hobby event. Your future self will thank you when you’re painting that exclusive model and not hunting resale listings at midnight.
