The new year is in full swing as GW revealed two new Warhammer event exclusive miniatures for 2026, as both AoS and 40k are getting models once again.
Good news, Warhammer fans, the travelling events perk is back with a new pair of Commemorative Series models for 2026, and this time the theme is less “sneaky villain” and more “stand your ground and refuse to quit.” If you like characterful one-off sculpts that look like they walked straight out of a narrative campaign, these two are going to do some damage to your hobby budget.
With Cadians and Cities of Sigmar grabbing models, the human side of the hobby is in full power this year.
GW Announces Exclusive Miniatures For 2026

For 2026, 40k gets a stone-faced Cadian commander, and Age of Sigmar gets a Steelhelm veteran who looks like he has not slept since the crusade started. Different worlds, but the same energy: grit, scars, and “we’re still here.”
Cadia Unbroken (Warhammer 40,000)
Cadia Unbroken is exactly what it sounds like: a Cadian Castellan in a quiet, cold moment of battlefield focus. The pose is doing a lot of storytelling without trying too hard, with the Castellan standing on broken rubble beside a discarded sandbag, one hand holding the strap of her scabbard while a glove sits behind her back. It’s stoic, it’s sharp, and it screams, “I have seen worse.”
On the table, it’s an easy fit. Run her as a cool leading officer for your Cadians, drop her into a regimental Command Squad as a standout character piece, or just paint her as a little tribute to the Guard’s most stubborn survivors.
Dawner’s Reward (Age of Sigmar)

The base sells the whole scene too, with a decapitated Kruleboy head half-buried in the dirt at his feet. It’s grim, it’s cinematic, and it’s basically begging to be painted with a little extra weathering and battle damage.
Where You Can Get Yours First
These two minis will be available first at AdeptiCon starting March 25, then they’ll show up at the many events the Warhammer Events travelling team attends throughout the year, including the Warhammer Open Series and the World Championships. After that, they’ll stay available at selected Warhammer Events until just before the next year’s AdeptiCon, at which point the cycle starts over with a new pair.
So yeah, they’re not “buy it whenever” minis. If you want them, you’ll want to pay attention to the event stops and strike while they’re still the current year’s models.
Final Thoughts on the New Warhammer Exclusive Miniatures For 2026

If you’re going to snag any event minis in 2026, these two are a pretty solid excuse to “accidentally” wander into the traveling store.
