Is The Custodes Support Battle Group Worth It?
So, wth an estimated $62 value over buying the kits separately, dual use in both Warhammer 40,000 and Horus Heresy, and the first shot at grabbing the new plastic Telemon, Gyrfalcons, and Pallas, that is about all it has going for it.
We won’t really know for sure until the seperate pricing comes out for the jetbikes to see if there is more value in here sadly.
Eitehr way, for Custodes players who were already eyeing any of these units, it’s a strong buy, especially since this is the easiest way to skip the old resin tax and get the new minis in one go.

What to Buy Next?
If you’re grabbing the Custodes Support Battle Group, the next smart buy is probably the recent Legio Custodes Battle Group, because the Caladius, Coronus, Ventari, and Achillus or Galatus Contemptor kits all slot right into the same “finally plastic” golden parade.
After that, look at the newer plastic Custodian Guard, Custodian Sentinels, and Shield Captain options so the army has a proper core around all that elite support. Another Telemon or a second Pallas also makes sense if you want the list to hit harder without losing that sleek Custodes grav-tank and dreadnought pressure that works across both 40k and Horus Heresy.
