Here are all the Warhammer + plus exclusive miniatures that have been available over the years for subscribers to both the app and platform!
Over the past few years, hobbyists got to purchase exclusive miniatures if they subbed to Warhammer+ Plus for an entire year. In 2022, there was Chaos Sorceress and a World Eaters Terminator based on Mark Gibbons’ artwork.
Then, they recently teased some new animations, which is a win for those subscribers out there. This came after a price increase and paywalling of the army builder portion of their app behind Warhammer + Plus, which should hopefully help the app’s value.
Warhammer+ Plus Year 3 Miniatures : (August 25th, 2023)
Warhammer Community has teased the two new Warhammer+ plus exclusive models for 2023, and many hobbyists’ guesses were dead on!
Warhammer+ Plus Miniatures – Kasrkin
So pretty much everyone was right with their guesses here. The first model, “Unbroken,” does represent a veteran Kasrkin standing at ease for Warhammer 40k.
Inspired by a classic piece of Karl Kopinski art, Unbroken presents a veteran Kasrkin standing at ease. The miniature faithfully depicts details from a classic piece of Warhammer artwork, including the curved power sabre, the rebreather and goggles worn high on his scarred head, and the inverted combat blade on his chest.
It’s a fantastic piece for collectors and painters, perfect for working into dioramas, or perhaps even just as a unique Sergeant for your Kasrkin.
GW Reveals New 2023 Warhammer+ Plus Miniatures – Karlina Von Carstein
Not quite what we many had though as guesses ranged from a new Dark Eldar Archon to something for AoS Death, but this is big news for all the Sylvania fans out there.
Decked out in majestic fluted armour, Karlina Von Carstein is a sinister Vampire Lord armed and ready to do battle. In one hand she holds an elegant falchion decorated with a thorny rose, and in another an empty chalice awaiting the lifeblood of her foes. This miniature has a choice of two heads – one helmet with a bat-wing motif, the other with an exaggerated aristocratic hairstyle befitting an immortal terror of the Mortal Realms – you don’t reach a few thousand years old without picking up some eccentric ideas about fashion.
Warhammer+ Plus Year 2 Miniatures Revealed: (August 10th, 2022)
Warhammer Community revealed Mibyllorr Darkgfang, and Azrakh the Annihilator!
First up is Mibyllorr Darkgfang, a brand new Chaos Sorceress model and the one we couldn’t do as much digging about. We did, however, know it was a new Sorceress!
The second model was exactly what we thought! Thanks to our sleuth work, we matched up all the details and imagery. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
We also got some details to highlight the new miniatures’ images;
These brilliant miniatures accompany the upcoming Chaos releases, from the creepy, capering familiars that accompany Mibyllorr Darkfang to the intimidating presence of Azrakh the Annihilator, who has leapt straight off the cover of a classic issue of White Dwarf.
Getting your hands on these miniatures is easy. Sign up for – or renew – an annual subscription of Warhammer+ and you will receive your choice of miniature one month after subscribing. Monthly subscribers will need to wait the full 12 months to claim their miniature. Like last time, you can buy the one you didn’t choose with your subscription. It’s as simple as that.
New Warhammer + Exclusive Miniatures Teased by GW
Monthly subscribers will still need to wait until they’ve been subscribed for a year. Check back next week to find out exactly what this year’s miniatures look like – though we reckon you can make a pretty solid guess based on these imposing silhouettes…
Not only did we have a good guess, but we have also pretty much found the exact artwork they are basing the World Eater off! Mark Gibbons is an artist they have taken inspiration from many models recently, and this new one is no different!
This is an old piece of his art, and by the outline of this model, it looks basically identical, even down to the weapons! Then, when you consider the previous preview, it’s all but certain.
This is the previous preview, and you can even see he’s bald and angry, just like the artwork. So for all you Chaos fans out there, it looks like you’re in luck, as a World Eater is most certainly the new mini. Plus, they have done such a good job of turning his art into actual minis; we’re all for it.
This was actually posted seven months ago on Reddit, so huge props to this person basically guessed perfectly seven months ago!
While we don’t have an exact art picture to go off, if you ask us, the AoS model will most likely be a sorcerer for Slaves to Darkness. As you can see above, the model above looks awfully similar to the outline, just with some updates. So, whether you play Chaos for 40k or AoS, you might be in luck.
Other Models Based on Mark Gibbon’s Work
This is just a great mini and piece of art! They even made the little attendant taking the Gene Seed, so it makes sense to continue the trend as they did with Helbrecht. While this is all rumor, it seems very likely!
But these aren’t the only models based on his work.
This is the current Chaplain Grimaldus (well, until the new release comes out) you can get from GW, but as things have been going, they really don’t seem to want the Templars to have any Firstborn heroes left.
Now, let’s look at a piece of iconic Mark Gibbons artwork from nearly 20 years ago.
They even put this piece in the new post about Grimaldus.
Mephiston’s 2nd Edition Codex Artwork Enlarged
They gave him a plasma pistol, but other than that, he looks pretty identical to the artwork!
Warhammer Community even revealed his artwork alongside the release; it just looks so similar.
Warhammer+ Azrakh The Annihilator Miniature Unboxing & Rules
It’s nice to see someone grab it, but we expect for most subscribers to Warhammer plus, it will be a little while longer until they can order it. The pictures come from Reddit, showing the rules, all the bits, and size comparisons.
For a model of this size, it actually looks pretty easy to build, which is always nice for a commemorative mini like this. Plus, with how it’s set up, you could easily magnetize this, as this Reddit user did.
Unfortunately, this really doesn’t have any crazy rules by the looks of it, but, maybe later on, we actually see some more special rules. Still, he does have a lot of wounds and a decent number of attacks.
The Bits
The weapons look really cool, and there is a decent amount of detail.
As you can see, they set it up to be magnetized with other existing Chaos Terminator weapons.
Overall, the Azrakh The Annihilator miniature looks great from this unboxing/
Size Comparisons
He’s actually quite a large model and makes most of the other models look small. There’s also a chance this could set the scale for new terminators in the future, but we won’t get too far ahead of ourselves.
When you look at him compared to other terminators, he’s obviously bigger, so who knows, maybe this will be a new size.
Overall, it’s just cool to see what the model will be like. as it’s quite huge (almost on scale with a normal primaris) and looks like it has a few cool weapon options.
Year One Exclusive Minis for Warhammer+ Plus: (June 23, 2021)
First up is the Vindicare Assassin, this looks like a 3D render, but that is only half right. While it is a prototype 3d print it’s an amazing diorama model for what hobbyists will get down the road.
They basically have a year to nail it down. Still, this is honestly pretty sweet! Not sure what base size this will be on, but it will make a perfect centerpiece for you to really sink your teeth into and let your painting ambitions go crazy. This makes sense for a model as it can be used by so many factions, so any Imperial player can take advantage of it.
An Orruk takes the spot for AoS. The mini looks pretty sweet, but the one thing that’s hard to tell is how big it is. They said the skull on the back is an Ogors and the skull in its hand is a Stormcast. So this is just going to be giant!
The Choppa itself is probably bigger than some minis out there. Again though, you won’t get this mini until you are subscribed for a full 12 months.

How Much Does Warhammer+ Cost?
Warhammer+ subscriptions will cost you $5.99 / £4.99 per Month or $59.99/£49.99 for a year.
Each year around the end of August, Games Workshop has offered a voucher for anyone who has subscribed to Warhammer+ by the launch anniversary!
However, be aware that to redeem the coupon, you will need to stay subscribed until that October at least. This means you cannot just buy it and forget about paying your subs – GW wasn’t born yesterday.
We don’t know when the next subscriber offer will appear. However, rest assured that we’ll keep this guide up-to-date as soon as we find out.
Warhammer+ Apps
Warhammer+ subscribers will automatically get access to Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40K apps. Both of these apps currently have a monthly subscription fee.
This is in addition to the Warhammer+ streaming app, which will allow you to access all Warhammer+ video content and, presumably, the Warhammer Vault.
Warhammer+ TV shows
The Warhammer+ streaming portal portion of Warhammer+ will include at least three shows that Games Workshop will produce in-house, along with a suite of animations.
Citadel Masterclass
Warhammer+ was launched with two episodes of Citadel Masterclass.
Louise Sugden, a new recruit, presents a tutorial on painting. Sugden explained that the show was about teaching techniques beyond GW’s ‘Parade Ready’ level. Sugden also asked for suggestions via social media channels from the firm regarding advanced painting techniques that people would like to see.
Battle Report
Warhammer+ also launched with two episodes of Battle Report.
Battle Report, GW’s first-ever branded YouTube game report video format, will reportedly be featured in “spectacular showdowns tactics and cunning.” We read that Battle Report will feature “spectacular Showdowns of Tactics and Cunning,” which is GW’s first-ever branded YouTube game report video format.
Loremasters
Loremasters wasn’t available at launch but joined Warhammer+ starting Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
The show is narrative-focused with Wade Pryce, Warhammer Community’s main presenter. Loremasters appears to cover both Warhammer 40K stories and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. This is evident from the use of ‘Warhammer branding’ rather than any other logo.
Warhammer+ Animations
Warhammer+ is the home for all official Warhammer animations. It’s will be available through an app that can be used on mobile, tablet, and TVs. The service announced 11 animated shows, which cover a broad range of 40k and Age of Sigmar stories, as well several animation styles, including photorealism to anime.
The length of the shows is unknown, but they all have grimdark names like Hammer and Bolter and The Exodite, Iron Within, and Altar of Wrath.
Below is the Warhammer animations trailer from year one for all the shows on Warhammer+,
It’s up to us to vote with our hobby dollars, though, on whether this is the model is worth a $60 Warhammer + sub for the privilege of paying another $42 to purchase it. As we’ve continuously shown, Warhammer + hasn’t yet lived up to the promises Games Workshop made at launch.
