Most of these Games Workshop releases are orderable, but they might be low on stock or higher in price already on the secondary market. So be sure to check out all of the offerings and pick up anything you might want while they are still available…

Some of these may also still be available on GW’s store, but they are often cheaper when the allocations were favorable from stores elsewhere. Of course, if you can get them at your LGS at a discount, that may be a great place to spend your hobby dollars as well!

The hulking Contemptor Dreadnought is an iconic unit for Space Marines in the Age of Darkness, and with good reason. This adaptable war machine can be armed to complement any playstyle – like to stand off and shoot? It can do that. Would you rather get up close and personal? No worries. Prefer a mix of both? The Contemptor has you covered.

The kit includes eight different guns and a pair of fists – and you’ll be able to pre-order the weapon frames separately, allowing you to double-up on the same weapon to assemble a specialist Dreadnought. One sprue contains an extra autocannon, bolt cannon, lascannon, and melta cannon, along with a spare fist and an extra pair of arms.

If the Contemptor is somehow not big enough for you, the Leviathan has got you covered. The close-combat variant is already available, and now its ranged brother is coming to bring devastation to the battlefields of the Age of Darkness. 

This kit comprises 142 plastic components and is supplied with a Citadel 80mm Round Base, as well as a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 44 optional markings and icons for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly

This kit is compatible with the Leviathan Dreadnought Ranged Weapons Frame, allowing you to outfit your Dreadnought with two copies of the same arm-mounted weapon, as well as the Leviathan Dreadnought Close Combat Weapons Frame, allowing you to equip your Dreadnought with fist weapons for melee fighting.

Like the Contemptor, Leviathans also saw some play in 40k during previous editions, thanks to their significant firepower.  Also, just like them, you can order the weapons upgrade sprue just like the Close Combat version to customize it however you want.

Cataphractii Terminator Squad Retail Price: $85

Cataphractii Terminators are the elite infantry of the Legiones Astartes. Widely used by all Legions, they’re effective in melee and at range, and their heavy armour shrugs off all but the most massive enemy weaponry. While these hefty warriors were first deployed in the Horus Heresy, they can also be used as Relic Terminators in games of Warhammer 40,000.

These “old-era” Terminators are great! With the more medieval-like design, they might even be popular alternate minis for Iron Fist/Black Templar players.

More advanced than Cataphractii plate, Tartaros armour offers superior protection to power armour while sacrificing none of its mobility. Like their Cataphractii cousins, the Tartaros Terminators now come in boxes of 10, with a host of melee and ranged weapon options – and can also be fielded by Space Marines armies in the 41st Millennium.

These models have no Legion markings, allowing Warhammer hobbyists to paint them in whichever colours they choose – however, the box includes a transfer sheet with 339 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. The new season of Kill Team kicks off with the Into the Dark boxed set as we explore the claustrophobic confines of the space hulk Gallowdark. This setting adds a new tactical dimension to your games as you and your opponent try and claim the advantage in brutal close-quarters fighting.

As the newest box set to arrive for Kill Team, this is the easiest package to up your Kill Team gaming experience! The box also looks to include new rules for the Into the Dark terrain and the new models.

The box includes two brand new kill teams in the form of the Imperial Navy Breachers and the Kroot Farstalker Kinband. The former rely on brute force, clearing rooms with their shotguns, while the latter are more like a scalpel, clinically hunting their enemies and picking them off with surgical precision. The box contains 10 Breachers plus their two robotic companions, the C.A.T. and the Gheistskull, and 10 Kroot mercenaries with two loyal Kroot Hounds.

 

 

 

 

 

The stars of the box are most likely the two new warbands featuring the Emperor’s finest and some unassuming Kroot (which will definitely win if underestimated).

There’s also some incredible new terrain, recreating the layout of a space hulk on the tabletop in innumerable ways.
