These go up for pre-order on Saturday, June 6, 2026, around 1 p.m. EST in the States, with a street date of Saturday, June 20, 2026, for store shelves.

And if you’re still waiting on something else to hit pre-order, check out the latest lineup in our updated Warhammer Roadmap for 2026.

Warhammer 40,000 Armageddon Starter Set Pre-Order: $295 (USA), $360 (Canada), $545 (Australia), £195 (UK), €245 (EU)

Warhammer 40k Armageddon regional pre-order timings chart

This is the launch box for the new edition of Warhammer 40k, and it’s loaded with Space Marines, Orks, and all the accessories that go with them. Plus, the only place you can get the Operation Imperator book.

The full contents and value breakdown are already on the site if you want a better sense of what you’re getting inside.

GW says they made plenty this time, but they’re still calling it while stocks last. We’ve heard that before, so if you want one,  set an alarm for 1 p.m. EST on June 6 or be ready to do laps on warhammer.com.

Best of all, rules previews for the Big Mek Dakkarig, the Land Speeder, the Wartrakk, Eradicators with Heavy Bolters, and the new Ork characters are all already broken down on the site. So are the Faction Focus detachments for Orks and Space Marines.

Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon Hobby Tips

If you ask us, the move here is a sub-assemblies. Keep the Space Marines and Orks off their bases until the paint is on, and prime the Orks in dark brown or zenithal black before you push into Goff red and metals. One more thing worth doing up front: magnetize the Land Speeder’s weapon options so you don’t have to crack glue later when you want to swap the assault cannon back in.

Black Library: New Pre-Order Releases

The latest Black Library pre-order titles are here; they’re hotter than a Salamander Space Marines’ forge! So if you’re into far-future battles, mysterious quests, or tales of heroism, there’s probably something here for you.

Armageddon: Season of Fire: $30 (USA), $35 (Canada),

Armageddon Season of Fire Black Library novel Jude Reid

Jude Reid drops readers into the wars for Armageddon through three perspectives: an Astra Militarum officer, an Adepta Sororitas Sister Superior, and a Blood Angels Space Marine, all bracing for the ork horde. That triple faction lineup works well, pairing with a new edition, and it fits the campaign’s emphasis on a multi-front war.

The preview page slots this novel into the “what to look forward to” block after the boxed set timings, not into the June 6 pre-order window. So we’ll update when GW posts a firm pre-order date.

Editions are confirmed in English, French, and German.

White Dwarf Magazine: New Monthly Pre-Order

The latest issue of White Dwarf is up for pre-order, packed with lore, miniature showcases, and hobby tips.

White Dwarf 525: $13 (USA), $18 (Canada), $17 (Australia), £7.99 (UK), €9 (EU)

White Dwarf 525 Cogforts cover

525 is the Cogfort issue, and the designer notes how the Cogfort went from a lore blurb in an older White Dwarf into the towering walking war machine that GW eventually put on the shelf. That background is super interesting to hear with big new model releases, and the Cogfort is the right kit to do it on.

There’s also a Titanic Duel rules update inside, adding the Dominus- and Tyrant-class Titans to the arena. The battle report sends a Cities of Sigmar army into one of Nurgle’s swamps, which sounds miserable for the Freeguild and great for anying reading it, lol.

Final Thoughts on the Armageddon Pre-Orders

Warhammer Sunday Preview Armageddon boxed set feature

After two years of edition rumors, June 6 is the day 11th stops being a slow drip of rules previews and becomes the actual rules. Space Marines and Orks come in first because they’re in the box, and every other faction’s 11th edition entry will have to work around what these two armies bring out of Armageddon.

The arc this wave kicks off runs for the next three years, with this box being what the rest of the 11th gets built on from here. Look for the core rules to get revealed this week on Warhammer Community, along with the full breakdowns from us here on Spikey Bits.
