The 40k Christmas Box for Orks, the Armoured Blitzmob, is here, and if you’re thinking about buying the battleforce, we break down the models, value, and who it’s for.
The new boxes are here, and the Orks just rolled a Christmas Battleforce box off the scrap pile that’s basically one giant Battlewagon with a Warboss, three Meganobz, a Deff Dread, and ten Boyz riding in it.
We’re going to break down what’s actually inside the Orks Armoured Blitzmob, what it’s likely to cost, when pre-orders may land, and whether the value holds up.
- What’s in the Orks Armoured Blitzmob: one Warboss in Mega Armour, one Battlewagon (which can be built as a Gunwagon instead), one Deff Dread, three Meganobz, and ten Ork Boyz.
- Value looks strong: itemized MSRP comes out to $388.50, putting savings at roughly $123.50 (32%) versus the estimated $265 box price.
- Tabletop take: 16 miniatures built around a transport that can haul either your armored bosses or the whole Boyz mob straight into the enemy lines.
- Pricing: Assumed to be the new price increase amount of $265 for Battleforces.
- Release Date: TBD, but these usually go on pre-order or hit store shelves on Black Friday, which could be on or around Nov 27th, 2026.

Orks 40k Christmas Box Values & Pricing
The Orks Armoured Blitzmob is all about armor, from a Warboss and three Meganobz clanking around in Mega Armour to a Deff Dread and a Battlewagon that looks like a scrap fortress.
Load your Meganobz and Warboss into the Gunwagon and floor it up the field, then pop the hatch and unload everything into your opponent’s face at point-blank range. Build it as a Battlewagon instead, and you can cram all ten Boyz inside at once.

Is This Orks Box Worth It?
Well, you’re getting around $123.50 in savings with the Orks Armoured Blitzmob. Honestly, that’s a strong number for a Christmas Battleforce, and it’s a pretty useful mix of units.
The Battlewagon does carry a lot of the value, at $135 by itself, it eats up about half the box price before you’ve even clipped a Meganob off the sprue. Anyone who’s been putting off buying a tank just got a pretty easy excuse.
So really, if you want a Battlewagon, grab this box, if not, you probably should pass on it.
How Many Points Is This?
We would guess the Orks Battleforce points come out somewhere around 605 under the current 11th Edition rules.
What to Buy Next?
If you want this Orks Armoured Blitzmob to feel like a proper WAAAGH! instead of one tank and a handful of very angry passengers, start with another box of Boyz so you’ve got bodies to hold objectives while the Meganobz go krump things.
After that, a unit of Gretchin gives you cheap objective holders, and a Mek or Big Mek Dakkarig gives your armor some backup once the other side figures out where all the Meganobz are hiding (hint: it’s the big tank).
Finally, add some Mek Gunz or Deffkoptas, depending on what your list needs, so the Battlewagon isn’t the only thing on the table worth shooting at.
Final Thoughts on the Orks Armoured Blitzmob Christmas Box
At the end of the day, the Orks Armoured Blitzmob looks like an easy call for anyone starting Orks or adding some armor to an existing mob. Around $123.50 in savings, a Battlewagon, and a pile of armored Orks is the kind of box Ork players end up buying two of.
Honestly, the one thing to watch is the official price. If GW holds the line at $265, grab it and start arguing with your gaming group about Gunwagon versus Battlewagon. If that number creeps up, the math still works, just with a little less room to spare.
