Sad news for Badab War hobbyists today, as Forge World is moving to discontinue some of the Badab War Products from their store.

Hobbyists on our Facebook Group received what looks to be the following notice from FW about the Badab War

Q: Anyone know why Forgeworld is purging Astral Claws, merch?

Rhino doors, Termie pads, decals, land raider doors. Etc…. all gone!

My army is losing its custom bits! QQ

A: It’s over..

badab-goneForge World citing “sluggish sales” has stated to axe products from it’s online store, presumably never to be offered again! Currenrly the Astral Claws only have three products listed for sale:

It looks like several of the Badab War line is already out of stock as we speak, and I can only imagine that trend will continue as they sell though. The Badab War books 1 & 2 are also no longer listed on the site as well.

The Badab War series was released in 2010 but may have been eclipsed in popularity by the release of the Horus Heresy line in late 2012. Strangely some of the armor marks released for the line were “absorbed” into the Heresy line when it launched.

These marks of armor are older than you think:
