Latest Imperial Knight 3D Printed Upgrade Bits: Unboxing
This miniature is printed in fine detail plastic by Shapeways. This bit is about 2.5″ long by 1″ wide, fitting on the Imperial Knight to upgrade to the Preceptor. The piece is easily slotted into the same front plate as the thermal cannon. Plus even though the tolerance is tight, you can also magnetize it onto the plate as well to easily switch out the two weapons.
Rob used 1/8″ x 1/16″ magnets, which fits easily onto the back, and then onto the faceplate itself. Magnetizing the options for weapons is great to future-proof your knights for any new rules or weapon options that may come out.
It fits very nicely and is to scale to the new Preceptor knight. Painted up, this piece will be a fantastic way to provide new options for your Knights without having to purchase a new one. But if you are in the market for a Questoris Class Knight the Canis Rex box will make all 7 versions of them, and can’t be beaten for value there!
