Szarekh, the Silent King finally has some concrete 40k rules that are on the way in the Necron codex book that looks to be shaking things up a bit!

Here’s the latest codex reveals and more for Warhammer 40k! Be sure to see how these previews match up to what left to release on the GW Roadmap and the remaining Rumor Engine teasers.
Szarekh, The Silent King
This absolutely stunning diorama-like model captures the iron-willed authority, grandeur and power befitting such an important hero.
Other than the stunning model, we do see that the two pillars are actually on separate bases, so prepare for some unique and interesting rules!

Also, the king model himself is huge- look how tall he is. We would not be surprised if he was as tall as the new Skorpeh Destroyers. There also appears to be multiple models on the machine. Three Necrons total, most likely two servants and the Silent King himself.
Since Szarekh doesn’t talk these are likely the voice of the Silent King, as GW alluded to. The Triarch to rule them all, so to speak…
Every Necron collector will want Szarekh, the last of the Silent Kings, to lead their deathless legions to battle. You won’t have much longer to wait.
Silent King Stat Line Preview
Just in case you forgot about the amazing silent king model (we know you haven’t), GW wanted to remind us with the codex previews today…
What’s more, it’s backed up with a whole swathe of special rules, including aura abilities to buff your troops and hamper the opponent’s units. They can also help you destroy your enemies in a variety of ways, improve the Silent King’s durability, and generally make him perhaps the most formidable Character in all of Warhammer 40,000!
It is a decent stat line, but judging by GW’s hype, most of his power is almost certainly in his abilities! It can’t be too much longer now for us to see the full sheet in all its glory!
No doubt, it will fit for a Necron who has the full force of an imprisoned C’tan powering his floating throne.
