Hasbro recently announced a new and improved version of the G1 Dinobots combiner, Volcanius toy imported from Japan! Look for them soon!
Hasbro Pulse occasionally gets a hold of some of the old collector items and puts them up for sale directly from them. Get ready to experience and remember your childhood with this blast from the past.

Transformers Takara Tomy Generations Selects Dinobots G1 Volcanicus
Authentic Takara Tomy Product as sold in Japan, with original packaging and Japanese-language instructions. The combined warrior Volcanicus is a giant robot created by combining five Dinobots, each Dinobot combines as arms and legs around the leader of the Dinobots: Grimlock.
Included are the 5 Dinobot figures; Grimlock, Snarl, Sludge, Slug, and Swoop each with their own weapons and accessories.
Each model can separately transform into the Dinosaur mode and Robot mode or combine all 5 together to form Volcanicus.
The Dinobots were released separately in the Power of the Primes series and now are re-released as a combined set with updated deco and new weapon accessories
This is a pretty sweet deal for collectors given that they are all together in a convenient package instead of having to search for them all separately.
The pre-order was pricey, but when you are in the market of collector items, everything is. The package features the original Japanese package and instructions which is a nice vintage/collector touch. Keeping it as original as possible is great to know.
While you can’t order this anymore look for it to pop up on the secondary market early next year.
