Warhammer 40k Imperium Magazine Full Contents & Value

imperium-magazine-title-walThe Warhammer 40k Imperium Magazine subscription service has pretty good content and value overall- here is the latest!

If you’re unfamiliar with the subscription, you get a handful of minis and other accessories along with each magazine. The models are all for Space Marines and Necrons but aren’t a bad value for the number of minis you get. On top of the minis, you can get paint, dice, a game mat, a brush, a ruler, free gifts, and of course the accompanying magazine with each issue.

Warhammer 40k Imperium Magazine Available In US & Canada Now!

Warhammer Community announced that the magazine will finally be available outside of the UK with Spain and Germany getting issues now as well from local stores. In the US and Canada, the Warhammer Imperial magazine will be available from the 26th of January 2022.

The first set looks to cost around $26.80 but then it goes up to $67.80 a month for three issues together. They also talk about separate changes of around $10 for the storage binders as well.

This is a subscription. We will send you future issues each month as they are published and charge your card accordingly +$6.95 S&H (+$11.95 Canada). We will also supply four binders to store your magazines as needed, your first of which is free, then $9.95 each thereafter. You are free to cancel at any time.

As of early November, there was content out to issue 15-18 in the UK, so this looks to be a least a 5-6 month run here in the states so far!

Warhammer 40k Imperium Collection: What You Get

Warhammer 40k imperium collection

Each issue of Warhammer 40,000: Imperium comes with a selection of miniatures, paints, brushes, vehicles, or scenery PLUS an exclusive magazine to build your own Warhammer 40,000 army!

As you can see, you get some interesting stuff with every issue, but if you don’t play Space Marines or Necrons, it’s not really for you yet. Each issue of the magazine will focus on the minis inside with datasheets, lore, building guides, paint guides, and some tips on how to actually play with the minis in a battle.

While you won’t be able to build a full army around what’s inside, it’s a very cool little service and it’s always fun to get stuff in the mail! On top of what you get in every issue, if you subscribe you will also receive one free gift with every issue.

The gifts are almost as cool as the issues. The modeling kit and paint handle are honestly pretty sweet and are worth about $30-$35 on their own. On top of that, you get three brushes and a binder/dividers to keep all your issues organized.

Again, if you want to subscribe, you can here.

The price for the first three books will be $26.90 for the first month, then $67.80 (premium where you get other models) or $55.80 (standard) for the months after.

The first month will get you the three magazine issues and figures above, whereas the second month, will get you issues 4-7. Then you get four magazine issues every month after that until you have them all.

Is Warhammer Imperium Magazine Worth it?

From the breakdown on Fauxhammer, the models and terrain (not including the value of paints) comes to $2029 (Estimated) the cost of the magazine collection is. So the total saving is $920 (again estimated).

Which is a roughly 45% savings in USD before including the paints, brushes, and the other freebies.

So there is some value here but it isn’t super cheap either, however for only about $27, the first three seem to be a good value for sure.

How many Points of Warhammer Models Do You Get?

Warhammer-Imperium-Magazine-Full-Army-ContentsAccording to Fauxhammer who broke it all down, there are about two 2,000 point armies of Necrons, and Space Marines plus 300-400 in Sisters of Battle and Adeptus Mechanicus included through the whole subscription to Warhammer Imperium magazine (picture above).
