1st Place: Steven Crawley- Drukhari
Steven went for a two detachment Drukhari list, with the first being a battalion led by an Archon, Haemonculus, and Succubus. Each of these serves as lords for each of their focuses. The archon has a hit re-roll aura for Kabal units, the Haemonculus has a toughness buff aura for Coven units, and the Succubus has a Wound re-roll aura for Cult units.
The inclusion of all these different lords makes it clear that this list means to take the best of each type of unit and buff them up!
Following that theme in troops, there is a unit of each troop for Coven, Kabal, and Cult respectively, with the Haemoxytes being the upgrades form of Wracks. This makes for a group of troops that each are a bit better than typical thanks to the presence of their respective lords.
Elites bring in 5 Incubi which are great melee units while being relatively cheap.
Closing out the battalion are 6 Talos, which get 7 Toughness thanks to the Haemonculus aura and hit extremely hard thanks to their heat lances which can make quick work of any enemy armoured units.
The second detachment is a much smaller patrol led by Drazhar, who is a great unit on his own in combat but also helps to buff up the incubi that were in the previous detachment.
Another unit of wracks adds more higher-toughness models thanks to the Haemonculus aura, helping to hold the line longer and potentially be a challenge for the opponent to chew through.
And finally closing out the list are 6 Cronos, which serve as the main ranged chaff-clearing units to help cleave through any low-toughness low-wound models the enemy might be spamming.
