A Very Eldari Comeback: Palm Springs Open Army Lists
Thanks to Best Coast Pairings, we can look back at the event as if we were all there ourselves. Check out the event details here.
3rd Place: Kyle Parry – Harlequins
2nd Place: Joel Wilson – Necrons
1st Place: Chase Chappel – Eldar
Chase started his winning list with a large detachment of Ynnari Aeldari led by a Shadowseer, a Farseer, and 3 Warlock Skyrunners. Each of these provides great psychic support in slightly different flavors but ultimately are just there for their powers.
Troops bring in 5 Kabalite Warriors and 10 Rangers. Both of which are cheap bodies with ok ranged power.
Elites have 5 Banshees, 5 Scorpions, and a Warlock. Both the Banshees and Scorpions are melee-focused threats that can tear it up if they make a charge. The Warlock is another psyker for even more support options.
Fast Attacks have 3 Shroud Runners for some mobile units that can zip around and harass enemies.
Heavy Support brings a Falcon and Support Weapons. The Falcon offers some great ranged firepower on a mobile chassis, while the Support Weapons are some cheaper anti-armor options.
Closing out the detachment is Flyers with a Wraithfigther, bringing even more psychic powers, this time in a plane, and a Voidraven Bomber to help out in the air by dishing out wounds every turn.
Closing out the entire list is an Auxilary with Baharroth, who is fantastic thanks to his deep-strike and re-deploy rules making him very elusive.
