Here’s a first look at the new Death Guard Heroes and a bunch of Warhammer Underworlds releases hitting pre-orders this weekend.

New Death Guard Heroes & Underworlds: FIRST LOOK
Even though the Death Guard models came out a while ago, it’s nice to see them come back, as they cost a ton on the secondary market! Plus, this time, there is a model release that was previously only available in Japan!
Warhammer Underworlds will be getting a bunch of new releases and a base starter; however, most are delayed in Japan.
Space Marine Heroes 2023 – Death Guard
A new selection of warriors comes to the popular Space Marine Heroes range, this time it’s the pestilent Death Guard. While you’ll be able to buy these individually at selected stockists, you can also pick up the whole set in one go with this pack of eight boxes – which is guaranteed to include at least one of all seven designs. One of these malodourous characters is the Malignant Plaguecaster – pictured conjuring the flies from his staff – who has previously only been available in Japan.
Each miniature comes with a detailed base, and doesn’t require any glue to assemble. They’re a fun collector’s piece for fans of the forces of Chaos, and great additions to any Death Guard army.
As with all the Heroes blisters, these are some sweet unique models that can easily be used as squad leaders or even characters.
Warhammer 40,000 Chibi Figures Series 2 Web Only Order From GW
Decorate your painting desk with the second series of Warhammer 40,000 Chibi figures from Bandai, this time expanding the range with adorable takes on an Inquisitor, a Commissar, a Tempestus Scion, a Blood Angels Space Marine, and a certain head-swinging Crimson Fist you may remember from the classic Rogue Trader rulebook.
Each bag contains one random figure, and you can pick up a whole pack of 20 if you want to be sure you get the whole set.
Chibi’s aren’t for everyone, but these simple little guys are great for a small conversation starter at your desk If you are into that.
Warhammer Underworlds: Starter Set (Delayed in Japan)
Jump right into the world of fast-paced, tactical arena combat with the new Warhammer Underworlds starter set. This box provides everything you need to get two players started with their first games of Warhammer Underworlds, including two complete warbands, two decks for the quick-fire Rivals format, and all of the boards, dice, and tokens required.
The new starter set features the Farstriders, veteran Stormcast Eternals armed with powerful boltstorm pistols, and the Sepulchral Guard, undead tomb wardens who overwhelm their foes with sheer numbers. The step-by-step instructions guide players through their first games, steadily introducing new rules and game mechanics until pure novices become seasoned veterans.
As the ideal starting point, this box is excellent for anyone looking to test the waters of this game with a buddy. It looks similar to the first starter set for Warhammer Underworlds released in 2017 called Shadespire, which was officially discontinued in 2019.
When it was first released, it sold for $69.99 and contained everything you needed to play the game, like the new starter above.
The Headsmen’s Curse (Delayed Chinese Language Release & Delayed in Japan)
Many eclectic characters have led Warhammer Underworlds warbands in the past, but none quite so strange as a sentient, spectral sword. The dread blade Terminus has enthralled an entourage of Nighthaunt spirits, and it commands them to ferry it across the battlefield where its deadly attacks can reap a harvest of souls.
The Headsmen’s Curse is an aggressive, powerful warband focused on supporting the Wielder of the Blade, while the attendant Nighthaunt support their master with multiple control mechanics and special skills.
This sweet Nighthaunt warband is now available separately, so if you like these guys, pick ’em up!
Voidcursed Thralls Rivals Deck (Delayed in Japan)
Unlock new strategies in the exciting Rivals format with the Voidcursed Thralls deck, comprising 32 cards usable by any Warhammer Underworlds warband. This deck spreads the dreaded Voidcurse to your fighters, allowing them to use powerful Gambit cards that are especially potent in the hands of aggressive warbands.
