Top Warhammer 40k Homebrew Army List: Viking Games

Check out this excellent homebrew list that emerged in a tournament over the weekend that shows that sometimes it’s more about the general’s skill than what you play.

Viking Games: Frank Kummel – Dark Mechanicus 5th Place

Frank Kummel 1

Frank made it to the top tables with a unique Mechanicus list led by an Enginseer and Technoarcheologist for some support and heals every turn to surrounding models.

Troops bring in 15 Vanguards for some standard bodies. At the same time, Elites start with a datasmith for some Kastelan support and 20 Electro-Priests for melee units.

There are also 5 Infiltrators and 20 Rustalkers for even more close-range units.

Fast Attacks then bring in four raiders for mobility options and a total of 10 Dragoons for some seriously deadly melee models that dish out tons of damage.

Heavy Support brings in two Kastelans to pair with the Datasmith, while Transports end the list with two Duneriders to help move bodies and protect them for a few turns!
