GW’s latest Warhammer rumor engine preview looks like the back legs and tail of a dog-like beast. Let’s take a look at what it could be!
Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed.

Rumor Engine: August 12th, 2025
This rumor engine is clearly the back end of a hound. Lately, I’ve been playing some Total War Warhammer, and this reminds me of the generic Chaos Warhounds, which have variants for each Chaos god. It could, however, be any dog-like beast with some extra twigs or horns coming out of them.
That means pretty much all game systems and factions are possible!
There used to be some hounds in the Beastmen line-up, but the kit isn’t the best sculpt compared to modern standards. A new kit, maybe even with options for each god, like in the Total War games, would be awesome!
Still, this is a rumor engine with tons of possible options; it will be cool to see the future mini!
