AoS Slaughter at Hel Crown Warhammer Preview (For Skaven Or Stormcast)
August 5th is the final day to register your results for the Slaughter at Hel Crown. The fate of this fortress city is quite literally in your hands (or perhaps claws, for the more beastly among you). Whether you’re leading a horde of vermin or a phalanx of shining warriors, your participation could tip the scales and get your army new reveals sooner!
Just like Games Workshop did with the 40k Leviathan box and edition launch, they ran a campaign with the two factions included in the AoS launch box. Then, depending on who wins the campaign (with player-imputed results), we’ll get to see new miniatures for that faction first, and the other will come our later after.
Win or lose, we’re all in for a treat with the Slaughter at Hel Crown Preview, set to be broadcast live on YouTube this Saturday, August 10th. This is interesting because they have done almost all of their reveals on Twitch up until now. We’ll see if this is also on there, but they explicitly say YouTube, and we really have no idea why they switched. Or it could just be that they forgot to put it in the post as well.
Expect a great lineup of new miniatures to be unveiled, sure to enhance your efforts in the Hel Crown. But wait—there’s more!
Warhammer Preview(s) Canceled
Games Workshop supposedly pulled the plug on the US Open Tacoma preview event, leaving us all scratching our heads. This event was supposed to be a major highlight, showcasing the latest and greatest from the Warhammer universe. But alas, it seems like the gods of chaos had other plans. But wait, it gets better! Or worse, depending on how you look at it. The “surprise” Warhammer preview at Gen Con, which hadn’t happened in years, was also axed.
However, we did get the new Imperial Agents reveal the following Monday, complete with video montage and more.
While the recent cancellations have thrown players and hobbyists for a loop, the upcoming Hel-Crown and Nova Open previews offer a beacon of hope. Whether you’re a long-time player or new to the hobby, make sure to stay tuned and ready for the next big reveal.
Slaughter at Hel Crown Giveaway
Five lucky entrants will score every new release for either the Skaven or Stormcast Eternals from now until July 2025. This means no matter what your army gets at that time, you can get the models for free! However, to be eligible, you have to enter your results by today. You can also only enter results if you bought Skaventide, meaning it’s not just an open entry for any Skaven or Stormcast player. You can enter your results here!
