40k Imperial Armor Books Move to Last Chance to Buy

last chance to buy GWNew 40k rules are coming soon for the Forge World units we’ve been dying to play with again, as the old Imperial Armor books are now on Last Chance to Buy.

Back in the summer of 2017 Forge World released physical books of 8th edition rules for all of their units that they sell on their webstore. Normally, people can plug the Forge World units on apps like Battlescribe so there’s no real reason to get the books, however. Especially at this stage of 8th edition where points have been adjusted so much that the books doesn’t really give an accurate representation anymore.

With that said these Imperial Armor (FW books) are up for Last Chance to Buy now. And in the wake of GW announcing that they will be re-adjusting points values for their entire 40k FW model line, we may be seeing all-new, updated books grace the New Releases section soon.

The Warhammer 40,000 Studio – those industrious people behind rulebooks, codexes and expansions like the Psychic Awakening books – are hard at work on a new series of tomes that will cover the range of Warhammer 40,000 miniatures Forge World produce. These books will include updated datasheets and army rules that give these glorious models abilities and benefits that are comparable to the rest of the forces in the game.

Here’s what you can grab while supplies last.

fw imperial armor bundleWith everything covered above, the bundle offers a one-click-to-buy option for all of their content. Again, keep in mind that these books are old. Since the start of 8th edition, Forge World unit points have changed quite a bit as well as some datasheet being completely changed as well. (Remember the Custodes Caladius?)

Just keep that in mind before you grab these as there’s nothing new inside-these are not the new FW books that were confirmed as “on the way” from GW.

With these books on their way out of the door, could it be for any other reason than FW beginning to re-write the books as updated versions? How do you keep track of your FW units on the tabletop?
